Jake, "Sexy" Jake Posts: 957 Group: Member Member #1,310 Joined: April 9, 2006	What do you guys think about this Z warrior? Did you like him more as a villian in Dragonball? I know some people who do, like my brother. Personally, I don't care for him in Dragonball, but thats my opinion. I believe Piccolo has some of the most useful techniques in the series. The regeneration, of course. I mean, how cool would it be to be able to perform something like that? The Specail Beam Cannon is of course another great technique, but I'll stop there. This is where you can discuss Piccolo and anything about him. Go.

Posts: 2,103 Group: Retired Staff Member #1,870 Joined: November 4, 2006 Gender Male Country United States	I didn't like him much in the Saiyan-Frieza saga. He was in an ackward position. He was in the process of transforming from a bad guy into a good guy. I didn't like that. However, in the Garlic Jr.-Cell Games saga he's awesome. He is also at his prime in terms of power. He manages to defeat Garlic Jr., Android 17, Imperfect Cell, as well as put up a good fight against the Cell Jr.'s. He's okay in the Great Saiyaman-Kid Buu sagas. He's gone past his prime fighting days, and becomes more of a mentor than anything else. He doesn't really fight much, and his only real achievement was "killing" Babidi. Other than that, he basically just trained Goten and Trunks to use the Fusion Dance and coached Gotenks while fighting Super Buu. Nothing spectacular. In GT, he becomes worthless, like most other characters. He didn't do anything worth a cent, and he didn't display his logical thinking except for when he got Goku out of HFIL in the Super 17 saga. Overall, a good character, but they could've done more with him I think.

Only part I don't like is that in the Majin Buu the only fight he was in wasn't practically even a fight. Last thing I like about him is that he's pretty smart. Yep, gotta love the big green guy.

Google Chrome and Firefox	I didn't like how Piccolo was a supporting character. There was so much to him than that. Also he seemed like he trained as hard as anyone. I never figured out why he didn't use the Super Namek transformation in DBZ, like he did in Dragonball. That would have been neat to see again. I think he is awesome character, and he knows how to wear the green! 8) Since DBGT was a nightmare, I won't mention anything about that. Lol I think everyone else pretty much summed what I had to say about Pickle.

Vegeta, supossedly Earth's "sole guardian" was wasted by not only Gohan and Goten in the Baby Saga, but even by Super Android 17 in that saga. It was humiliating to watch what they had done with my favorite character. Then, in the Shadow Drago Saga Vegeta finally goes Super Saiyan 4. I thought he'd finally pick up the slack for his weakness in GT. No. He still did absolutely nothing except contribute to the Fusion that formed Gogeta. Besides that (and be the host for Baby), he did absolutely nothing important in that entire show. As for Gohan, Goten, Trunks (and even Uub, who I thought would be one of the main characters of GT), they were all worthless. They weren't even around enough to be considered supporting characters. None of them won any battles (unless you count when Majuub tried to hold Baby back), and they all made the Super Saiyans look like jokes. Ridiculous. And then there was Pan...don't even get me started. Pan is the only character I find to be more worthless than Chi-Chi.

I absolutely HATE what GT did with my favorite character. They turned Trunks into a pansy for one. Did the writers forget the amazing Mirai Trunks they created during the Cell saga? GAH! But anywho, on Piccolo; I'd have to say that he is very much on my favorites list. This is why; "Breakfast?! You're having a fusion technique for breakfast!" lol Not only that of course, but he really is an amazing mentor and teacher. He may not be as strong as out Saiyan boys, but who is? That doesn't mean he's useless. Didn't he make Gohan the Gohan we know in love in DBZ? POINT: I love that pickle-oh!

Strongest of All Posts: 377 Group: Member Member #1,171 Joined: February 22, 2006	Piccolo is okay, I'm just glad that Toriyama didn't render him useless like some of the other characters. He should've been used more in the Buu saga though.
