Saiyan Saga: After fighting Raditz, he's killed and sent to Other World and can't return to help fight Nappa and Vegeta until most of his friends are already dead. Namek Saga: After his battle with Vegeta, Goku's forced to stay in bed for about half the Namek saga just to recover. This leaves his friends on Namek alone fighting villains such as Dodoria, Zarbon, and most of the Ginyu Force. Frieza Saga: After his battle with Captain Ginyu, Goku is confined within a rejuvination chamber so that his body can recover from his last battle. This makes it so that Gohan, Krillin, Vegeta, and Piccolo all have to fight Frieza on their own. Garlic Jr. Saga: After beating Frieza, Goku has to find a way back to Earth after Namek is destroyed. This leaves him out of the ENTIRE Garlic Jr. Saga. Androids Saga-Imperfect Cell Saga: For a majority of both of these sagas, Goku has a heart virus that prevents him from fighting and helping his friends. His only fights in either of these two sagas is his fight against Android 19, during which time he comes down with the virus in the first place. Goku never fights any other Androids, and doesn't even fight Cell until he's in his perfect form. Great Saiyaman Saga: Besides the Other World Tournament, Goku isn't shown at all during this saga because he's dead from his fight with Cell. World Tournament Saga: Not shown in this saga at all until the very beginning of the World Tournament, and yet he's STILL dead from Cell. Majin Buu Saga: After his fight with Vegeta, Goku's knocked out cold on the ground for a few episodes. This prevents him from helping his friends at Babidi's spaceship because by the time he wakes up, Vegeta is dead, and Gohan, Supreme Kai, and Kibito are all in Other World. Majin Buu-Fusion Saga: During a portion of these two sagas, Goku's time on Earth is up and he's forced back to Other World again where he can't fight until Majin Buu has absorbed most of his friends. ***** See what I mean? There are a lot of parts in DBZ where Goku can't fight because he's out of commission. Your thoughts?

Piccolo kills Raditz, Vegeta lives, Trunks kills Freeza, and Gohan Kills Cell.

Gohan's energy Piccolo's Namekians Supreme Kai Guys at King Yemma's office (passed out, so that's an obvious clue) Goku's friend and family. Android 17 (Holds a gun up to two farmers who raise their arms thinking their gonna rob him, and he smirks and goes "You beat me to it" and raises his own arms smiling) Vegeta's smarts refunding Goku's strength AND bringing the Earthlings back Hercule getting the Earthlings to donate. Goku only supplies the technique and puts in the big finish with the SSJ.

Posts: 192 Group: Member Member #1,130 Joined: February 8, 2006	Theres nothing unreal about it, it makes sense, most of the times Goku is the only way out of things, he is most powerful. It wouldnt be intresting if he would have been in the battle entire time. Mostly in the series all low level fighters do the hard work while Goku comes and fights with the hardest of them all. Lets take Namek saga for example: Krilling and Gohan would have no point at all in this saga if Goku would be there, cause all the guys they have trobule, he can defeat with ease. If he would struggle then others would have no chance at all. So he comes for the grand finale to finish thing.

Black Knight Posts: 8,697 Group: Retired Staff Member #1,874 Joined: November 5, 2006 Favourite Anime Code Geass, Death Note, Dragonball/Z	Well Goku might only have killed one in DBZ but without him they could not Kill Raditz, no frieza, since it kind of helped bating frieza, the Ginyu Force(Doesnt Goku kill Recoome as well?) In the saiysan saga his death led to Gohan's Anger, in majin buu saga he could have easily beat Majin Buu, he put up a heck of a good fight against Kid Buu, so he always contributes the only one he deosnt is in the Garlick Junior saga YEAY 100 POSTS YEAY

Goku let them sleep/stay passed out but Vegeta broke Butta's neck by kneeing him there and blasted Recoome.
