Due to something genetic about the saiyan race? Lol that was funny. Due to sexist creators. They didn't want to have women fighting, that's why the only girls who actually know how to fight are pushed out of the scene when they get pregnant. I'm not saying you are sexist, but the dbz creators are definitely sexist. They always make women look like they only know how to take care of the kids and the house. For all the things you have said, Pan could obviously go Ssj if the creators weren't sexist. She has done the same and much more than Goku did when he went ssj, but, look what, she's female. Women have all the conditions to go Ssj, they are though when they need, and they know how to show their emotions. Some of the girls in dbz had a lot of potential to become great fighters, but even 18 that is the most powerful and even kicked Vegeta's butt, is pushed out of the scene with no logical reasons. Oh wait, she got pregnant... is that the reason?! Men go fight while women stay at home cleaning everything up and taking care of the baby? ARGH, what is that??! That is sexism!! Not damn genetics! |

Ive always wanted to see a female go super saiyan, I always hoped that would happen  , I mean it would be pretty cool, seeing a girl kicking Vegetas butt just like Android 18 did. Talking about A.18 I always wondered where she was on the Majin Buu saga, why didn't she get in a good fight. I havent watched all the gt episodes, but from the episode list that the character says, shes only in one episode
 , not so cool. It definitly be cool to see Pan go Super Saiyan or Bulla.Please stop with the sexism commets(I do not know what is it like to be a woman, therefore I respect them, more than I respect males. Please stop, too much sexism and racism going around these days, it is not cool. |

the real reason they can't go super saiyan is because the artists didn't want to have to draw their hair going up. it was too hard :erm: and let's be honest, who wants to watch girls fight?- oh, wait, scratch that, girl fights are wesome! 8) 8) 8) |

Its actually a pretty interesting subject. How women are portrayed in anime.... A mate of mine wrote a Thesis on anime, and he touched that subject in it. He said he found a pattern that all women in anime are either extremely dominant, or extremely submisive. Never inbetween. But also that the extremely dominant ones usually tend to have a male character that keeps them in check. Is Anime sexist? you bet...... |

Can we not talk about sexism anymore? Lol I am becoming extremely stressed out over this and I'm trying to remain calm about it. I believe that girls could have turned Ssj, but because they didn't was because the creators didn't fully concentrate on them. Just like with all the great women fighters in DBZ. 2 of the ones I am thinking of could have been more influential and awesome than they were atually represented. |

I say why not? Bull defentily could if she trained hard enough because she's half saiayn. I'm not sure about Pan, but that's only because she's only a quater-breed. But then again someone said, "She has the heart of a saiyan". They probably didn't go SSJ because Bulla had Zero training and Pan never was enraged enough. Like if I dunno Gohan and/or Videl died in GT she would go SSJ. |

I dont think being quarter saiyan has anything to do with her being capable of turning ssj because Goku jr. and Vegeta jr. were 5% saiyan and were capable of going Ssj. I think it is all a matter of perception, but I do agree with you Silver Raditz for the most part. |

No, i beleive that female saiyans don't have whatever it is to allow them go super saiyan. I'm talking within the constraints of the anime. |

OMG MAN - what is wrong with you peeps man this is just a simple topic about if or why a females super saiyan hasnt shown up basically stop making it out to be a sexism thing.. calm down and grow up... ¬_¬ be adult about this... discuss this without gettin heated cause i talked about tha "female cycle" ... its not a big deal, or a deal @ all. like i said.. i meant no offence so even from tha get go there shouldnt be any hostility, chill... just discuss this and get on with it.

Uh no. I dare not quote Wikipedia but I believe the reason is because they had no clue how the hair would have looked. And I don't blame them, lol. Pan would have looked stupid and ugly as an ssj. Its not the author's fault that nobody wants to watch an ugly anime woman. |

Oh so the change in a Saiyan's appearance when they turn ssj is their hair turning gold? My bad, I always thought the hair points straight up and the muscles increase by a large amount. Guess I was wrong... /sarcasm No. A buff female Saiyan would be ugly. Never has there been an ugly female who was a main character in an anime. Not the author's fault, blame the pervs who watch anime. |

They wouldn't have looked ugly. Besides how would you explain Celipa and Videl's boy haircut? Pan was as tomboyish as they came and Bulla was flat chested. :rolleyes: Buff.
