This list indicates all the punishments for certain offences, just to make it clear. Flaming/Provoking Flame First Offence: Increase in warning or verbal warning. Second Offence: Increase in warning plus 3 day suspension. Third Offence: Increase in warning plus 7 day suspension. Forth Offence: Moved to Suspended Group or Perminant Ban. If Unbanned: Perminant Ban plus IP Ban. Spamming/Other First Offence: Increase in warning or verbal warning. Second Offence: Increase in warning. Third Offence: Increase in warning plus 3 day suspension. Forth Offence: Increase in warning, 7 day suspension plus decrease in post count. Fifth Offence: Increase in warning plus 14 day suspension. Sixth Offence: Moved to Suspended Group or Perminant Ban. If Unbanned: Perminant Ban plus IP Ban. Advertising First Offence: Moved to Suspended Group or Perminant Ban. If Unbanned: Perminant Ban plus IP Ban. PM Advertising Used to lose PM rights, but rules are more strict on this now First Offence: Moved to Suspended Group or Perminant Ban. If Unbanned: Perminant Ban plus IP Ban. User Harrasment First Offence: Increase in warning plus 7 day suspension. Second Offence: Moved to Suspended Group or Perminant Ban. If Unbanned: Perminant Ban plus IP Ban. Chain Posting Replying to every topic on a page First Offence: Verbal Warning or increase in warning. Second Offence: Increase in warning plus post count decrease by 25%. Third Offence: Moved to Suspended Group or Perminant Ban. If Unbanned: Perminant Ban plus IP Ban. Multiple Accounts Only applys if the user brakes rules with the new account First Offence: 7 Day suspension plus added 7 day suspension on main account. Second Offence: Moved to Suspended Group or Perminant Ban. If Unbanned: Perminant Ban plus IP Ban. Bypassing the Word Filter First Offence: Increase in warning. Second Offence: Increase in warning plus 3 day suspension. Third Offence: Increase in warning plus 7 day suspension. Forth Offence: Moved to Suspended Group or Perminant Ban. If Unbanned: Perminant Ban plus IP Ban. Posting illegal/adult topics First Offence: Increase in warning plus 3 day suspension. Second Offence: Moved to Suspended Group or Perminant Ban. Posts: 26 Group: Member Member #1,966 Joined: December 6, 2006	Thats a good point about the chain post thing. sometimes I come on this forum and see loads of interesting topics and post on loads of them then wander of and do some quantum mechanics coursework or revise for an exam in superconductors (That was this morning, it didn't go that badly actually) and don't come back for a while. When I do come back there's a whole new set of interesting threads to post on. It seems a bit harsh to punish someone for making lots of posts if the posts themselves aren't spam. It'd be like arresting someone for neglecent parenting just because they've got eight kids. Granted, if they've got that many kids there's a chance they can't cope and neglect their kids but if they're good parents and the kids are well cared for it'd be unfair to arrest them just because they have eight children. Where do you draw the line between making lots of inciteful posts because you're a good and productive member of the community or being a chain-poster and getting banned?
