Do you just mean Christain Bibles? Because there are about 400 differant versions of it world wide, of verying degrees of differance form spelling differince, to launge differance, to whole chunck of context differance. to say just one is a the true one is to refute all the others which is not the christain way. As far as I understand the christain way.

Do ask me I'm jewish!!! :p

May I ask how you know this? And by what means you know this information?

Also, I believe the original language (before the Tower of Babalon thing) was Hebrew. Or whatever the Jewish speak. As they are God's people.

Um because *EVERYTHING* was written in scrolls back then. Books werent around until Julius Caesar

They didnt exactly have a printing press back in the days that could make copies upon copies of bibles. DUUUUHH!

Rule 1: This debate is for those certain members who have a religion and are free to tell what type of Bible they use. If you don't have a religion and just come here to spam, you will be reported. No one cares about stupid people who post "Lawl at you all for actually having a God!!". Seriously, if I see that at all, actions will be made.

That's alittle mean, people who don't belive in god have an opinion too and should be entitled to such.
Only if post's violate rules should they not post.
But that goes for anyone.

Sorry BBQ, I made that so people like Metaldawg wouldn't come barging in and being an idiot. BTW, will you do something about him? He's providing no help/talk to the thread what-so-ever.

Not all parchment was in scroll form. They can come in any way, shape or form.

Tyro is right, The Talmud, a book explaining the Torah was in book format and it is 2000 years old. The Torah was (and most cases is) a scroll, but it's a bit older lol

I think it is too difficult to really know which is the most correct. Different religions are going to state that their bible is the most correct. I think mine is the most correct, I'm sure others feel the same about theirs. In fact the Pope already got himself into a bit of trouble for making a negative comment toward the Muslim religion.

Yup, I mean it was a long time ago, and as a Jew, I can forgive him. But that's still a leap from Hitler youth to Pope, don't you think? :p

The pope, told the muslims or well asked the muslims, has "Mohammed" (their God) ever brought good things to their faith. So basically what he was trying to say is that the God you believe in, is evil and that he hasn't brought anything, but suffering. So you know how the muslims are going to react to that. They are extremely angry with the pope, but at the same time can you blame him?

moehammed isn't a god, he is the prophet of the muslim people.
God is god, he can't die, and is not a person.

They are both angry, and feel sorry for him as well, as he has obviously not done his research.

Yes i can, islam isn't the fastest growing religon in the world for nothing.
He blames the minority.
The prophet mohammed has been rated the most influential man in history, with newton in second place, and jesus christ in third. It is unfortunate that a few foolish "terrorists" who do the opposite of what islam has tought , have given islam a bad image.
Do some research, and you will be shocked.
