Everyone here agrees that videogames are not a source of violence to the majority. I think the debate is pretty much over, right ? |

Well, most video games need some sorta aspect of violence. Video games are usually based around conflict between one side vs another. Even Mario Party has games where u have to bash others down with giant hammers. If there wasnt violence in video games, we'd be reduced to racing games..... and..... DDR! (ME LOVE DDR) |

I dont think its a problem with violent games yes they do have grussome images but some parents should watch what there kids play insteed of just buying it.I have been playing Mature video games since i was 13. my mom would always buy it for me. Now that im older i can buy myself. |

Some video games do go over the top, like Grand Theft Auto. I do believe that this violence is totally unessesary. But, games that are violent have "M" or "A" ratings. That means their for muture buyers. I don't understant why parents complain when they buy the games for them in the first place. |

LOL! Grand Theft Auto is about as violant as cheese on toast. Sure it promotes guns, but it's not really worth the rating of 18. If it wasn't for the porn in Vice City, I would have given it a 15. Look at the Mafia game. Rated 15. Yet it's about as violant as GTA. Still. |

Does it really matter how violent it is? Its still uneeded. Its just a way to get attention. It annoy's me when people care about how violent a game can get. |

No it doesn't matter how violent most games are. Though, some games do try to go over the top P: But that's still not really going to change a person unless they are really young or open to suggestion. Eitherway, age restrictions are put there for a reason. But some of the age restrictions are just stupid.
