Peopl of the forum, steve erwin better known as the crocodile hunter has passed away. He was filming a documentary about marine life when a stingray attacked him. He will be missed, and remembered for being....such a happy person i guess... |

Iv never heard of anyone being killed by a stingray before...i knew they were dangerous, but not lethal. |

They called it a freak accident, because mostly people, when they get stung my stringrays, it is usually in the foot. Poor Steve, he was so cool, all of us will miss him. HOpefully his kids can carry out his tradition as being a great animal expert and a awesome crocodile hunter.

He was stabbed in the heart by the stingray. That's what killed him. Not so much the sting. It was more of a stabbing really. Yeah, he was soo cool...I heard his wife doesn't know yet because she's on some mountain hike or something. |

Did my post get deleted?Or was that on another post. Having only seen CH once I dont see why so many people care.This may sound cold to all of his fans but hundreds of people die a day and does anybody ever pay them this much respect?I still think Mr Miagi's death was worse. No disrespect to Steve Irwin I'm sure he was a really nice guy.And I bet he was.If somebody actually met him on a regular basis or was realated to him fair enough but how many people met him walking down the street? And in a side note: The coolest Guy on Tv WAs Mr Samuel L. Jackson for he has teh purple lightsaber |

What is there to debate? IMO, it should be renamed Serious Discussion.
Steve Irwin's death is really unfortunate and depressing.  This must be horrifying to both his family and to Australia. It's actually these kinds of deaths that make perple want to cry....

*crying hugs a random person in the topic* I *****ing cried when this guys turtle died in 2002. LOL... I guess. But now that HE Himself is dead... if I had been still watching his shows I dunno HOW bad I would be affected. I feel a little peice of my childhood experience gone because of his death, but I haven't watched his shows in awhile. R.I.P Steve. |

I cried a bit this morning listening to some of the tributes they had for him. Man he was just an incredible guy. There will never be a crocodile hunter like him.
