So if we spawn a flock of them ourselves... ...We could build another Saiyan empire! Vegeta: Don't be stupid. Do you want a lot of ingrate brats running around with powers greater than ours? Nappa: Oh... Right... Vegeta or Nappa: We must exterminate all life on Earth! And it can be debated if Vegeta could actually turn USSj or not. And jst because trunks has a sword, that doesn't mean he is stronger. He has to have power behind it otherwise it is usless. I say Vegeta. he was shown to be stronger than Goku while in SSj and the training Goku did on Earth really increased his power.

Posts: 605 Group: Member Member #846 Joined: November 10, 2005	fine i admitt your right but vegeta is still stronger than trunks because trunks young and stupid sometimes but vegeta is more determine than trunks and wants to be the strongest with vegetas anger and determination he can defeat trunks plus trunks is more use to his sword so if vegeta finds a advantage and destroys his sword trunks will fight less than he was with his sword

Posts: 13 Group: New Member Member #1,326 Joined: April 16, 2006	Trunks wins during the Android Saga....here is why Between to the 2, it should be even, Kami has the following statement in the Manga (this isn't an exact quote)..."Trunks, a Super Saiyan was defeaten easily by the Androids...& Vegeta potensially stronger than Trunks was beaten aswell" Now if you look up "potensially" it means could be in the near future....so as we can see there is some evidence point towards Trunks. Next, in Volume 13, Trunks is following Vegeta on the way to Gero's lab. Vegeta tries to ditch Trunks by powering up to SSJ & speeding off. Vegeta is clearly trying to move fast by his facial expressions. At this point Trunks powers up & catches up to Vegeta easily & gets right back to the same point he was at in accordance to how far Vegeta is away from him. Infact this leads me to believe that Trunks is faster than Vegeta because when Vegeta powers up he catches Trunks off guard & gets a good head start before Trunks powers up. So for Vegeta to get a head start & Trunks to wind up the same distance away from Vegeta proves that Trunks is faster. Also, Tien states in Volume 14 that Trunks is no different from Vegeta, which closes up the possibility of Trunks being weaker than Vegeta. Finally, this is probably the biggest one of all. In Volume 13, Vegeta asks Trunks if he is planning to fight him (Vegeta) in order to stop him from letting the Androids be awakened. Trunks replies "If it comes to that"....now this is after the whole SSJ Speed Chase thing (see above), so Trunks would have already gotten the chance to sence Vegeta's SSJ chi & he feels confident he can stop Vegeta.

The sword Trunks' has would totally be useless in this fight, because we all saw what Goku did to his sword with just a finger, Vegeta could do the same. The reason I think Future Trunks would lose is because his heart wouldn't be in the match. Vegeta doesn't care if he beats up his own son, he will do it to prove a point. Trunks on their other hand will have second thoughts about going up against his dad. One of the only advantages Trunks will have is that he has had the SSJ form/powers longer than Vegeta has. Trunks is also young and inexperienced about some parts of battle (for example when he went USSJ against Cell's final form, he thought he was stronger than his dad, but realized that Vegeta stopped because the form had a weakness, which was speed.) Vegeta has better attacks than Trunks. I'm not saying Burning Attack isn't awesome, but I don't believe it can compete with a Final Flash or a Big Bang. Vegeta has been to different planets, has fought different beings, he just has more knowledge about fighting opponents then Trunks has. Trunks did fight the androids constantly, but since he was by himself he usually had to escape from the battle so that the androids wouldn't take him too. So I think experience in battle should also be put into consideration. It would be youth against experience and usually experience wins.

Internet Explorer Favourite Manga Naruto	Goku was most likely somewhat stronger than Trunks in SSJ form. Piccolo later answered Gohan's question of "Is Vegeta stronger than my dad?" Piccolo said, "...he just might be." or something like that. by that i think that Vegeta is stronger than trunks. Vegeta is a full blooded saiyan as well, and would go straight for the kill.

I can't remember, But Vegeta certainly trained hard as heck, And he made 18 flinch a few times where as ya.. trunks got knocked out in one hit. It's also been implied that vegeta is much brighter when it comes to fighting. Sure he gets angry and cocky but he does fight as well as he can, and add he does have some level of thought to it. where as from what I've seen of trunks, He blindly rush's in with anger and mess's up Edited by Qwuall, Oct 28 2009, 05:32 AM.
