Intelligent Design is the belief that Humans and all life was created by a God or Supreme Being. This Higher Power created, Life, Planets, the Universe, Everything. Most religions teach of a Higher Power or several Higher Powers creating and controlling various aspects of everything. For Christians, God created Adam and Eve after creating the Universe and Earth. Basically an Intelligent Being designed the universe and the Human Being. Evolution is the belief that Humans evolved from some other animal to our current state. Most believe Humans evolved from some form of Monkey. Evolution is a long process which an animal slowly changes appearence over time to form a new species. One of the controversies is that what do we teach our children in schools. Do we teach them Intelligent Design, or Evolution. Many schools teach Evolution and many teach both. Why ALL can't teach both, i do not know but its a common issue. So what do you believe in and what is your ideas on this hot topic issue.

FireFox Favourite Manga Fruits Basket	Evolution is tought in Science and History. Creation is tought in Religious Studies. Well, I think so, I never paid attention to Religious Education. And Humans didn't evolve from Monkeys. Humans might have evolved from a Primate. I belive in Evolution, obviously. I mean, so many things go against the creation theroy. For example, look at people afew centurys back, their bodys are shaped diffrently to moden people, why? Because humans have needed to change to adapt to the changing enviroment, this is evolution. If people where created, why are there so many diffrent races? And why are these diffrent races all have body functions to abapt to the enviroment they live in? I would call that evolution. If we where created, why do we have a brain that we don't use 100% of? People use less than 20% of there brains function, if we where created, we would be able to use all of it, yes? I could go on and on, but there is no point, some people fail to take sciance into account and replace it for what they belive in, not taking into account the many obvious points of evolution. They should make it mandatory to teach the theroy of evolution everywhere.

MSN Explorer	I too believe in evolution, but as i see it creationism/intelligent design are not mutually exulisive. Forgive my indiscression with the Good Book of a while, at least until you think over what i say. Define G-d a being of which no higher can be consived, a perfect being with perfect love and perfect justice. If this is true creating the world trough evotuion is not beyound G-d's reach, is it not? And yet one might say to me "The bible says '7 days'". Truth, the bible does say this, but 7 days acording to whom exactly? If you have faith in the bible, the answer to that is G-d! And forgive the expression but G-d only knows how long a day is according to G-d... When G-d told Moses this i'm sure he didn't quite understand. So it could have been currpted right there and then...also at least 40 years of pure oral histroy, not to mention genrations under the sword of one oppeser or anthor, things were bound to get a little loose. (despite the fact amongst hebrew bibles their are only 9 variotions world wide... spelling errors with no influence to context- which is more than can be said for its christain cousin.)

I think that God does not himself know how he came into existence.The bible does say that God created humans in His image. I believe that this means that He created us with the hopes of us evolving into some sort of being like Him.I think that by watching the universe and mankind evolve He hopes to discover how he truly came into being.I also think that if God created matter then He hopes matter will "recreate" God. I cant quite explain it more in-depth but that is my view and I know some will disagree but thats what I believe.

I believe in God and that he created the earth and everything else. And I also believe that since God is God that he must be bored a lot so when he created Earth he put it in a perfect place so it could organize and produce its own life. I also believe that miracles are an act of God and that he does them to show that he indeed does exist. Now i'm not a strong Christian in terms of following everything the bible says though i should do more. So God is like a big kid and creates life and sits back and watches the show and helps out from time to time.

And then, when man sinned an God cursed the Earth so man had to start to work, then man started to evolve to make their bodies more suited for a "not so easy" life. Man started out perfect, and the evolution had just led us into more sin.

Firefox	Yep, god brought us into this world, he created our souls. We suvived through evolution obviously, survival of the fittest. The world is constantly changing, so the survivors who were best suited to live in these conditions would go on....evolution . The cycle continues.....
