The Android/Cell saga is my favorite. The Saiyan saga is a close second.
Boo Saga was cool isn't it?
I loved the Buu saga too.

Androids and Cell Saga. Bad guys created from an enemy back from original dragonball that was formed from the cells of all the greatest previous fighters. Seeing Goku give up in battle to give Gohan a chance against Cell was a big shock. The awesome fight with the Cell Jrs, Android 16's speech to Gohan before he died, Gohan's rage that transformed him into ss2, Goku's sacrifice to save the earth from Cell imploding and the final kamehameha struggle against Cell where everyone helps Gohan. Overall Android/Cell saga was great for me, there was a constant shift in who was strongest from super namek Piccolo to Super Vegeta to Future Trunks to Goku to Gohan and there were lots of side plots like Krillin's inner turmoil at whether to destroy the androids with the remote or not and even characters like Tien were given some time in the spotlight like when he held of second form Cell with Neo Tri beam.

I'll probably get heat for this but personally, I didn't enjoy Buu saga as much as Saiyan, Frieza and android/Cell Saga. Central characters like Piccolo were tossed to the way side and there were several points where the saga could've ended that it didn't. Goku states he could''ve destroyed Majin Buu as an SS3 when he first fought him but wanted Gohan and the boys to save the world as he wouldn't be around forever and the fight with Kid Buu could've ended with fusion of Goku and Vegeta but they wanted a fair fight even though the universe was on the line. Personally I dont particularly enjoy the idea of fusion. I felt like fusion became a trump card that was always there if needed to destroy the bad guys instead of gaining power over time through training or working together seperately like the Z fighters did against Nappa and the Ginyu Force and Cell in the final kamehameha struggle.

Well, thats not to blame for constant rise in power levels that they go waaay out of hand. I love Cell Saga, & though once I hated Boo Saga, I've grown to mature frm that particular level of thinking.

Personally, the Boo Saga was tedious halfway for me. By the time Fusion theory came, Goku left to Otherworld, Vegeta's dead, Gohan's power-up in Kaioshin Realm, it took a nosedive for me. I mean all great guys are gone, & here we go with some useless kids, getting beat-up. It was only when Mystic Gohan vs Super Boo, I felt the true DBZ feel came, all the way up to Kid Boo's defeat.

Me, being a neutral DBZ fan, appreciate every second of DBZ, along with my Dad. No kiddin, my Dad's 40+, still watches DBZ after being back frm work & needlessly to say, every saga impresses him at varyin level. I would even dare to say that my Dad is one of the coolest Dad that both of us discuss about Goku's origin, Vegeta's Sacrifice which blows away my Dad both emotionally & mentally, given he's Vegeta fan. Though Cell as a villian impressed my Dad, along with SSJ2 Gohan, Goku's happy-go-lucky, yet somewhat endless supply of positive vibration/chi frm Son really made my Dad to look up to him.

As a matter of fact, Boo Saga was one of my Dad's most preferable saga, for most cool fights, Boo's various forms, & Kid Boo's death by Chou Genki Dama, accompanied by Son's words really striked to his heart. In the end, the countinuation of Son's journey, leavin evryone & everythin behind, just as how he came, left my Dad amazed.

Just because I don't favor Buu saga to the same degree as the others doesn't mean that I'm not as mature in thinking. The topic is entirely subjective meaning open to interpretation and a difference in opinion doesn't mean you can't grasp something, it just means you have a preferance. I liked Vegeta's final attonement and Mystic Gohan's return (although it was short lived) but overall I enjoyed the previous sagas more. And personally, I much preferred the ending of DBGT to the ending of DBZ.

Oh crap! That was not what I meant. I promise.

I was referrin to myself, that I was immatured to be trapped into certain degree of liking, & unable to develop the attitude of likin or bein appreciative.

Not by any means to hurt or criticize you. I really feel sorry & so sorry pal :T_T:

I don't think he meant to insult you, but I can't speak for him.

I've always favored the android saga. It was such a great mix of action and mystery. Super Saiyan was still relevant and badass, and group activities (meaning the humans and Piccolo being involved) were still used effectively. The imminent danger of the androids tracking down Goku was cool to follow, and then the mystery of Cell was introduced, and that was very well done. Once Cell actually showed up and absorbed #17, I didn't find it as interesting or suspenseful. It just became about one-upping someone else constantly, and all the mystery and adventure seemed to be shoved to the side. I still liked the Cell Games, save for Gohan vs Cell, but something about it didn't feel "cool" enough. I dunno.

I think the Freeza saga is highly overrated, personally. It's alright, but it kind of goes on for a bit too long IMHO. The characters and fights were good, though.
