have you guys ever tried to interpret your dreams? I think it's amazing when you have nightmares because it's really your mind taking initiative to warn you of something scary or stressful you are not confronting.
is amazes me that the human mind is sooo powerful it can do that...

ex: i always wanted a piercing on my forearm... so i grabbed a needle and a ring and pierced my arm. i was very cautious, constantly trying to hide it from my paretns so i wouldn't get in trouble.

a couple nights later i had a dream there was apiercing in my leg and it was squared and big like the metal on a mouse trap. in my dream i grabbed it and pulled it back but there was resistance. when i let go, it snapped back and broke my shn and i woke up very scared.

--- i figure my mind was telling me i was sooo stressed out from my piercing (i won't lie, i loved the damn thing) and that i needed to get rid of it, so i did... O_o

I miss the sound of your voice
And I miss the rush of your skin
And I miss the still of the silence
As you breathe out and I breathe in
If I could walk on water
If I could tell you what's next
I'd make you believe
I'd make you forget

Nightmares are just like any other dreams, your mind going into REM.

Rem is classified as the state the body is in when dreams occur. But a dream is nothing more than an uncontrollable thought. Unless "lucid" dreaming.
Accordingly, no scientific proof has been shown that dreams cause/ warn anything in your real life. They do however have the tendency to change the way you act or think, based on fear. As Shiloh stated, her dream scared her to the point of taking the piercing out. You were afraid, and therefore you changed your ways slightly.
I myself have had nightmares of driving off a high overpass. A falling dream.
Since then, I drive more cautiosly.

Fear is a great motivational tool. However, fear does not change who you are.

It takes a mere second for treasure to turn to trash.

Oh! I have dreams of blood and body pools as hands reach out as people laugh and they walk towards me and murder me and scream and I walk into people dead and things tearing my limbs off and me in my basement with water dripping as it's up to my knees in water and the light flashes and something moves towards me as I fall down and it flashes again and a face is right in front of mine.

Yep, I have nightmares every night, some which would make a regular person cry, to me I laugh, I'm used to it.

My friend said my dreams are so freaky I could be the next Steven King.

Pshaa... And yeah I get some ideas from my dreams, I had a dream of something, vampires vs people, so I wrote it on computer, occasionally if I got a block I would have a dream on something that could happen next then I would continue. Sometimes my dreams aid me, sometimes they are just freaky.
