The game fully released a few months and a certain member is playing the game at the moment, so here I thought, why not make another thread for this wonderful game? It definitely deserves the attention it gets. It's one of the best survival games as of late and has a really good soundtrack, among the few reasons to consider playing it yourself.

The Arctic DLC will come out in mid 2019, so what better time to talk about the game, amirite?

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

I have been playing it a ton yes, and I can easily say that this game has really lived up to expectations, I took so long to play it even though I was interested because of the genre. I didn't want to be stuck looking for food all the time, but the water and food stuff was generous enough that I ended up not minding for the most part, and it helped play a lot into the experience of it. It's already shaping up to be one one I really enjoyed, it makes the underwater really fun while still showing (if only slightly) that this is still an environment you're not suited to. It's a game I really really enjoyed so far, and I hope that more people try it out.

Also screw the youtube community, it's seems populated by nothing but face-cam youtubers. Kidna disappointing considering the game itself actually does a great job at telling a surprisingly interesting story through it's data banks and environmental story telling, plus the gameplay itself. I was absolutely not expecting to end up wanting to constantly know more about my game.

Also as another deal, this game genuinly scares me at points, which I can only consider a good thing considering it's not even setting up any explicit jump scares or scenes. It just exploits one's fear of the unknown.

Well in all fairness some of the wildlife does pop out of practically nowhere :p

Though in their defense they let out a sound to warn you of their presence. Sand Sharks growl if you approach them and they're underneath the sand, Crashfish buzz, Reapers roar from afar, etc.
