What rounds do they win? This is Fat Buu at the strongest we saw him.

Round 1: SS Gohan (Z-Sword) and base Gotenks (pre)
Round 2: SS2 Gohan (Z-Sword) and base Gotenks (pre)
Round 3: SS2 Gohan (Z-Sword) and base Gotenks (post)

One of the most difficult things to really know is exactly how SSJ2 Gohan and SSJ Gohan are treated in respects to each other. For example, when Kaioshin is talking about holding back Gohan, he specifically refers to him as a Super Saiyan. Of course the term "Super Saiyan 2" I don't think wasn't used until Goku began talking to Boo (Or it might have been when Vegeta was talking about Goku surpassing the SSJ barrier when fighting Yakon.)

Then there's that whole issue where Gohan can't seem to even obtain SSJ2 so when Goku's makes the remark on Gohan fighting boo, it's difficult to say if he means SSJ Gohan or if he actually means SSJ2 Gohan. For hte sake of argument I'm going to assume SSJ2 Gohan.

So...

Round #1: They get their rear ends handle to them. We already saw what happened to Gotenks and if even SSj2 Gohan is treated as someone who may not even be able to beat Boo, there's no chance in hell the group is going to win. Again, Goku could very well be referring to SSJ Gohan, but in that case, they can't win. It's mainly because Gotenks himself can't provide the proper support for Gohan.

Round #2: This time Gotenks is actually useful and is in fact useful enough that he can honestly beat Boo himself regardless of the effort Gohan throws him. If nothing else, Gotenks has a nice meatshield to use.

Round #3: As I said, Gotenks alone could take this fight alone, having a partner that's near Boo's level, perhaps even stronger, gives them the victory.

Round #4: There is no fight here. Gotenks looks at Boo and Gohan dead in the eyes, dares them to even so much as fart in his general direction, and the two walk off to discuss where their poor life choices left them.

The duo wins every round except for the first one. Actually it's more about Gotenks doing it alone, given how nothing implies Gohan got much stronger by swinging a sword around.

I um don't know why I put Super Saiyan Gotenks on these tbh. Considering he's stronger than Super Saiyan 3 Goku who's stronger than Buu. I'm going to edit this a bit.

In that case, they lose the first two rounds but the third is the same as last time. Gotenks had pretty much surpassed his Pre-SSj form in Base once he was done in the ROSAT. It's not necessary, but if you are one of the people to use a 50x SSJ amp, than yes, Gotenks literally got 50x stronger in the ROSAT.

Round 1: Buu stomps
Round 2: Buu wins
Round 3: Gotenks stomps Buu, then turns on Gohan and decapitates him

They get easily demolished. Pre rosat Gotenks is stated to be weaker than Vegeta and Grey Boo, so he isn't relevant in this fight. Gotenks can't do anything to Boo without SSJ3. SSJ2 Gohan isn't relevant to Boo's power either. Gohan gets stomped like he did before.

Only in the third round can the Saiyans win, in which case Gotenks alone is enough. The first two rounds are an overwhelming stomp in Boo’s favor.

In this case, the only round the duo can win is the 3rd one. Gohan is a complete non factor, and Base Gotenks isn't enough to face Boo in Base until after his training on the Rosat, where he can casually vaporize Boo now.

Round 1- Buu stomps with ease
Round 2- Buu wins almost as easily, maybe takes a couple more minutes
Round 3- Fairly even fight, Gohan isn't much help but can be an annoyance, Gotenks without SSJ though I still have under Fat Buu, though just minimally
