Some important things to consider is that goten isn't able to fly and is not the most serious and experienced fighter Frieza on the other hand is more serious and has more techniques and skill

What Freeza would need to do is exploit Goten's naivete and aim with a Tsuibi Kienzan that blindsides his opponent. Alternatively, I say use a kiai to rupture Goten's eye while tunneling through the optic nerve to damage the brain. Plus, as a last resort, there's always the trusty old "destroy the planet" strategy.

This. How the HFIL are you people rating Goten so highly when he's just a kid? Goku even asked "is that it?" when SS Goten and Trunks powered up on Dende's Lookout, signifying 7 year old Goku > 7 year old Goten. This is an overwhelming stomp for the former Emperor of the Universe.
