Say Babidi suffers some last minute indigestion and postpones Yamu & Spopovich's task of extracting energy for Majin Buu's resurrection. Instead, the tournament will proceed as it were to during the show. Restrictions - Everyone is IC (no destroying the stadium / hurting the audience members) - Goku, Vegeta, and Gohan will stay Base form, but Mighty Mask can go SSJ - No forfeits/outside interference (i.e. Piccolo will fight Shin, Kibito will not ask Gohan to go SSJ, etc...)

Possibly during his match against Yamu like getting his outfit torn after beating him, then they're disqualified and Satan has no one to fight.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Kuroshitsuji	Should Shin be permitted full capacity and willingness of his powers then he would win. His paralysis arts were proven efficient enough to immobilise an SSJ2. In regards to offensive talents, the optically discharged kiai he used to dissipate Buu's Kokyugata no Kikoha meant for killing SSJ Gohan should provide more than enough punch to get through the competition. I daresay you could give the adult Saiyans their Super Saiyan 1 forms and they would still lose. Minimally, SSJ2 would be required for disrupting the psychic bind of Shin's powers -- and that's only referring to Goku and Vegeta. Shin might be able to beat SSJ2 Gohan by ringing him out under these circumstances.

If the kids are allowed SSJ while the rest aren't, there is literally no way he can lose without disqualification and I feel that usage kind of undermines the entire point of having him in the tournament and having SSj in the first place. Anyways: 1.) Krillin vs Punta Obviously nothing changes here and Krillin wins. 2.) Kaioshin vs Piccolo Same thing, the victory goes to Kaioshin, no real need to change it up here. 3.) Videl vs Spopovich Again, no real reason to change it, Spopovich wins. 4.) Kibito vs Gohan Kibito's pretty much going to lose and I dare say pretty badly too, Gohan wins. 5.) Mr. Satan vs No. 18 Since this is now a single match with more of the tournament on the line, I feel No. 18 has no need to hold back. Unless she's going to try and coerce Mr. Satan to give her some of his dirty cash, she's going to want to win this tournament...even if such a thing isn't necessarily possible. There's also the fact that No. 18 clearly has no real connections with Mr. Satan. I'm giving No. 18 the win here. 6.) Mighty Mask vs Killer As we've noted already, Mighty Mask can pretty much win this entire tournament, a jobber isn't going to be a threat. 7.) Yamu vs Jewel Again, you have a guy with increased power by Babidi and a jobber...Yamu Wins. 8.) Goku vs Vegeta Goku is not only stronger but is simply an overall better and more skilled fighter too, Goku wins. QUARTER-FINAL 1.) Krillin vs Shin Needless to say, Krillin doesn't have a chance here. 2.)Spopovich vs Gohan Congratulations Gohan...revenge is yours. 3.) Goku vs No. 18 Goku's already the superior one so he easily wins. 4.) Mighty Mask vs Yamu Mighty Mask Crushes...obviously. SEMI-FINAL 1.) Shin vs Gohan Gohan takes Shin to town and frankly, even if you had Piccolo here, he'd still lose. 2.) Goku vs Mighty Mask If Mighty Mask wasn't allowed to transform, it would certainly lead to Gou's victory but an SSJ Mighty Mask pretty much means his victory. The only way Goku can win is by some kind of disqualification and again, I feel that takes away the whole point. FINAL 1.) Gohan vs Mighty Mask So in a surprising twist, the lazy weak Gohan is the one who makes it up to the finals...though this is just by luck of the draw really. Again, if Mighty Mask couldn't use SSj, it would definitely lead to Gohan's victory but if this is going to be SSJ Mighty Mask, there's simply no way Gohan can win without certain requirements. Overall I think Mighty Mask can easily take the tournament if he's allowed SSJ throughout the tournament. If not, than Goku is ultimately going to be the one to push up to victory.

Kaioshin was still at awe with the Base Saiyans taking on Pui-Pui and Yakon and Kaioshin less held Gohan back and more so caught him off guard at the worst time. It feels no different than Base Trunks kicking an unsuspecting Fat Boo. I have a feeling if Gohan was ready for it and knew Kaioshin was going to use it, plus wasn't worried about two other guys trying to get the jump on him, things would've turned out much different. It's easy to make the technique look good when its both on an unsuspecting opponent and then said opponent is literally stabbed in the next panel, giving no indication of how much struggle he was in. Kaioshin really less held Gohan down and more so halted him just for a second and caught him off guard just enough for the others to drain him. I'm not going to put much look into a technique that's already questionable on itself.

Keep in mind that this is the same Dabura who resisted a barrage of attacks from an enraged SSJ2 Trunks. The bind held long enough for Dabura to give his reaction, Trunks to charge his finishing attack, and for Dabura to give out an exclamation for mercy; all of this while Shin was exhausted and on the brink of death. So if anything, the initial projections may have been off. Based on Shin's later mental observations about his ability to restrain SSJ2 Gohan, it sounds like it was quite the effort. But Dabura appears to prove that the paralysis might be stronger than we initially thought.
