Given what I hear about him, I'm not sure he in specific is responsible for these things so much as the staff with him that keep him (somewhat) focused. And again, he's utterly failing on very important fronts, like the the job of the presidency, the President's chief concern is foreign policy, it's where he has the most influence and has to work the least with congress, and again, he's damaging our ability to attend to matters in that future, and regardless of what happens internally, our rather privileged status as one of the most powerful countries in the planet, with all the wealth that brings us, does rely upon our foreign policy decisions to a great degree.

His last move (He and his WH staff) was absolutely atrocious though. Pulling out of the Iran deal was a major mistake, it has only helped destabilize the area.

Does it surprise you? He was always against it, he called it the worst deal ever. I don't blame him either.

Yes, give billions of dollars to the #1 state sponsor of terrorism and they'll cease to develop nukes. Promise!

Obviously they haven't just left them to their own devices. They are embassies and experts down there making sure they don't make nukes. Now that can all be gone.

Trump is advocating war over peace in this case. "If they try to nuke someone, we'll just nuke them back" instead of "They have no nukes, they can't nuke anyone".

My issue is it makes America look untrustworthy, again, hampering soft power, at the very least, if he really wanted to, he should have created or outright fabricate an incident that allows the USA to pull out on the basis of Iran showing itself to be untrustworthy in some way, same solution, but we stay the good guy, as opposed to right now

Right now, it looks like we just placed a dictatorship on top of their republic, then when they revolt and put up a new government based on a thing that hopefully won't be taken out by CIA agents, we call them an axis of evil, then offer money so they don't develop nukes, then pull out with a "PSYCH!" It also implies that any agreement in foreign policy is only good for four years, at which point you can't be sure they'll actually keep it. Once again, soft power is being whittled away. THere are ways to pull out without seeming untrustworthy, but Trump just isn't invested enough in the presidency to really do any of them.

On the Iran thing in general

Accomplishments? Like the failed health care bill? Or the failure of a border wall? Or failing to back out of the Middle East like he preached in the election? Or how about the constantly growing list of hand picked losers getting ousted from the White House? Trump is a loser.

He might be the president to preside over the death of net neutrality. That's something! Maybe not an accomplishment exactly...
