Tom Hiddleston already spoiled the fact that he'd return.

Spider-Man's death would've been unexpected, had it not been one of the few things they spoiled for me. I wouldn't have cared anyway, I found it more funny than anything, how Spidey somehow got some extra free ten seconds for it to be more dramatic, unlike everyone else who got disintegrated in two or three seconds. I think it would've been more sad had it taken the same amount of time, at least for me.

As usual the power scaling was all over the place, Thor can survive in space now? And he can take the heat from a freaking star when way back Iron Man was fighting with him on an equal level? That was dumb.

I appreciate that every character had something to do but a lot of their somethings were dumb, like Groot making the handle...wut? His wood is that strong?
That was clearly a case of "Oh s***, Groot is in this scene, he should do something"
Giant Dinklage just forgets to have the handle ready? Okay?

Also giant dwarves, wut. That's a new one.



As for the lack of impact of everyone "dying"...I honestly don't mind.
I mean really, what impact would it have if they all stayed dead? They'd have to introduce a bunch of new characters out of nowhere and the series would just go completely stale, full of unknown characters.
Characters like Gomorah, Vision and anyone who died before the disintegration will probably stay dead.
As well as that I imagine whoever reverses time and fixes all this will die too.

The CGI and the action were on point, this movie was pretty brutal even for PG-13, I was glad of that for sure.
I wasn't glad that they cut Hulk out though it did give some welcome scenes to Banner for once, seriously though Hulk was literally in the trailer. Don't do that mannnn.
Also did he seriously just wuss out the whole movie? That's not very Hulk-like I imagine but damn it was kinda funny "You big green a*****!" everyone in the theatre laughed out loud there.

Which brings me to comedy, it certainly drowned some tension but I'm glad not every line was made to be funny for once, sad scenes were allowed to be sad. That was great.


Captain Marvel? I get that they need a bridge to new movies but that was just odd, how does Nick know here and why was she never called before...like one of the many times Earth was in severe danger.
I know next to nothing about her character but I'm not sure she's on Thanos' level, though he is looking pretty f***ed up.

Thanos was fantastic and his goals made sense, I was totally on board with him for the first half or so of the movie until I realized how short sighted and dumb it really is.

Dude, in some million years time you're just going to have to kill half the universe again and it looks like it f***ed you up, waste of time, bringing worlds together and being more organized makes much more sense.
Especially when you're randomly destroying people who might be crucial to a planets survival...

I'm glad Thanos had amazing willpower, that's the main thing I hate about heroes, they always let s*** happen when they know they could kill just one person and everything would be better. Weakness! Especially when the story doesn't always give you a convenient way out.


His performance with killing Gomorah was great but at the same time, their relationship was weak. Either it should have been built up more or there should have been more scenes in the movie. I found it hard to care. I was just impressed they were actually killing people.
s*** got pretty dark.

Also Red Skull? That was random as f***, I had that spoiled for me but still. Didn't really add anything, doubtful he'll ever come back, especially since Hugo Weaving doesn't want to play the character again.

Though it was predictable as heck the way he got the Mind stone was awesome...I just thought it was super dumb how only then did Thor show up, was he taking a s*** or something? Thanos had already won then.
I guess maybe he let it happen as some sort of repentance.
