What's your favorite MCU movie so far? For me it's definitely Thor: Ragnarok with Ant-Man and Captain America: Winter Soldier closely behind. |

Captain America: Winter Soldier for me. Felt much more like a spy thriller than a super hero flick. |

I'm like the only person in the world who liked the first Captain America over Winter Soldier. Not that Winter Soldier is bad I just like the period piece better. Me too. I don't enjoy it as much as the second but I share the opinion that it was good. Could have done with some Hayley Atwell fan service though

Yeah I think it's okay it just lacked action for me, I wanted to see Captain America and Red Skull duke it out but they barely scuffled, watching Cap defeat faceless goons is never exciting. Especially not when the choreography is noticeably bad. Anyway for me Winter Soldier takes the top spot. Iron Man second. Black Panther third. And then fourth is this weird spot where I want to give it to Avengers but I'm so tired of the MCU formula that my brain is retroactively overwriting how much I enjoyed it at the time, it was a fantastic movie to me but now I don't even ever want to watch it again. So my fourth is between that and... The Incredible Hulk. f*** it, I really liked it. Edward Norton as Bruce was great and you could see that he was intelligent in basically everything he did, current Bruce is your typical quip machine and...not a single thing else. You can never go wrong with Tim Roth as a bad guy and that final fight scene was pretty sick. I liked that Hulk felt vulnerable, he even bleeds and he's absolutely weaker than Abomination. Now he's just an invincible plot device that can go punch Gods and whatnot with reckless abandon. Meh. I see why people don't like the movie but I honestly don't think it's a bad film at all, the CGI is a bit wonky perhaps but this was way before the Marvel machine could have near infinite budgets and heck some of their CGI today still looks a bit off at times. |
