Crazy Awesome Legend

I was just thinking, Putin pretty much runs everything in Russia, but what happens when he is no longer in charge? Will it go back to how it was in the 90s? In other words, run by gangs and incredibly poor. Surrounding nations will take advantage of the weakness and attempt to seize disputed territories. Georgia, Crimea, Chechnya, Ukraine, ect. It could very well be the end of Russia as a super power.

It's very unlikely that any other country would even attempt to invade Russia. The only country that has the power to, with or without a leader, is China. China would never do that.
What is more likely, is that whoever is next might institute term laws and expand on the role of the Kremlin for the State as a whole. That's really the only way to keep Russia from becoming even remotely destabilized. It is possible that if someone rises to power after Putin and doesn't implement a "For the People and State" campaign, he will be less favored than Putin by the masses and will causes unrest.
