Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Who's watching? 2 episodes in so far, enjoying it a lot. Still feels like there's a decent amount in the air to be an interesting series, after big events like in Defenders it could certainly be an "Oh, alright then" kind of series but it seems good thus far. Episode 2 spoilers My only real problem so far is...damn, Simpson was just killed like that? It was obvious he'd be a red herring but I thought he'd at least be around a while. Interested in seeing what this so called Beast is, didn't look very monstrous, can't imagine this is the sort of series that would have an actual mutated looking dude though that would be cool. Also that line was great "Super? You're the weakest human being I've ever met!" Just damn, that's a grade A burn. Aside from being less action packed than the others not sure why people dislike these series, I like the psychological nature of Jessica Jones' stuff a lot. She can be a bit annoying and whiny but her character is well built around that I think. Sometimes it's hard to feel sorry for her but depression will do that to you, make you do s*** you know is a bad idea. Just God damn Jessica, stop with the self destructive decisions go find Matt and have blind superbabies together. That's the only resolution to all this. Definitely.

A few friends are making fun of me for taking to long to finish. I have about 2 more episodes to go before I'm done and I'm hoping for something really interesting to happen. Spoiler: click to toggle I'm not a big fan of Trish and whats his face "associate" PI but it is nice to see the focus shift from Jessica more often then season. The whole thing about the killer being Jessica's mom, is horrible. I don't like the idea and wish it was a subplot that disappeared after 2-3 episodes.

It was a chore to get through the first season, and I nearly stopped after around episode 4 because nothing was happening and it was incredibly boring. With this season, I was intrigued from the start. I will say, though, that once the big mystery was revealed at about episode 8, the pacing seemed to come to a crawl, and that's when it reminded me of season 1. Spoiler: click to toggle I was disappointed with the use of Simpson. I didn't want another 3-4 episodes involving him, but a cameo was such a waste. The Big Bad being Jessica's mom was incredibly underwhelming. I was hoping for it to be her brother or something. Once it was revealed to be her mom, I lost interest. The big chase for answers was pretty much over, and that's what kept me interested through most of the season. I knew things were going to be needlessly complicated with it being her mom, and I was right. In the end, her mom had to die, so I was just waiting to see how they got to that point, and the stuff in between bored me. I didn't care about their time at Jessica's apartment, or when they were on the run. I don't know what it was, but seeing Jessica leave her city and almost cave to being some vigilante in Mexico or wherever just felt wrong. I guess what I'm trying to say is that her mom was a dull character, and a terrible villain. Kilgrave was outstanding, so it was going to be hard to top that regardless, but this wasn't good enough.

Mozilla Firefox Favourite Manga Berserk all day erry day	Overall I thought it was a pretty great season but not quite as good as the first, Kilgrave was just too fantastic a villain. Spoiler: click to toggle I actually really liked Alise, she was wildly unpredictable and I liked that she's...well, kind of an a*** really. She's not some stereotypical perfect mother that goes crazy, she's just a bit of a b* anyway. Fitting considering her daughter. Trish was super annoying this season. Kinda interesting she did get powers though, wonder if she'll just so obviously be a villain next season or more of an anti-hero? She's not going to be broken up about killing people like Jessica so she's probably going to go off the deep end. Jeri was f*ing brilliant. She gives no fs now, love how she's a total sleazebag. Not enough female characters like that on TV, there's only ever outwardly desperate women. My main gripe with this season is Jessica's diplomatic immunity. Seriously how the f is she not in jail or massively in debt from all the property damage she just gets away with? Ripping police car doors off and whatnot. And then just casually getting away with her mothers murder, even though no matter how you slice it forensics would have seen that the bullet came from behind and that they were both in the cart. s* that her mom died too, she mixed things up quite a bit. There was still some potential there. Nice to see Jessica have a functional relationship at the end...I really hope it doesn't just f*** up next season for dumb reasons, far too typical. Also the police searched his house and followed him to find Jessica but he doesn't get detained or anything despite obviously being in contact with a wanted criminal? 'Kay. Quite a few holes in this season that I don't remember being so glaring in the first. Still, good season.
