Dragon Ball Z is one of my favorite animes out there. Actually it was the first one i was introduced to. So it's no wonder why it's my favorite. The fights, the baddass transformations, the variety in characters, the character development, and of course the story of DBZ (short for Dragon Ball Z) is the very reason why i love DBZ. But besides that, I love how easy it is to relate to this anime. As a "simple" human being with basic human capabilities some would think humans couldn't possibly relate to this ki-blast-packed anime at all but humans also have a complex side to them.....emotions. And just like in DBZ, we tend to go through complex emotions similar to those displayed by the characters in DBZ. Whether it's anger, joy, greif, loneliness, etc; every viewer can relate in some way. Personally I can relate to the episodes where the Z fighters discover and enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. A room or portal to a place where a whole year is compacted into one day outside of it. The idea of this has always intrigued me ever since i saw it in the anime. As somebody who feels left behind, the idea of this concept is one i fantasize about every now and then. Making up for past time in such a short amount of time would be ideal but we live in the real world so it's impossible. However, as an unemployed 21yr old who lives under a roof free of charge(fortunately), I have decided to make my own Semi-Hyperbolic Time Chamber. I say "semi" because time can't be slowed down no matter how much you want it to. Although I'm not training to become a fighter, no I have decided to make up for wasted time in school. I now devote every day to bettering myself in one very specific skill. One i hadn't known i was good at until i graduated high school and finished my 2 Gap Years. The specifics of this skill are not important in my overall message here. Rather it's the amount I have grown in such a small frame of time due to focusing all my energy towards developing and improving this one skill that I wanted to improve. And improved this skilI I have, so much so that I'm beginning to understand and take advantage of a very simple concept I believe everyone should understand. If you focus most if not all of your time and energy towards improving just one area of your life, you will see dramatic change in yourself. It will be similar to how much the Z fighters changed when they emerged from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. The key factor in their great growth was their focus on improving one and only one key area in their life non-stop for a whole year. No distractions, no tv, no videogames, no drinking, no anything else. In the Z Fighters case their main focus was improving their fighting abilities. This is why Gohan didn't take his homework into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. With that being said, we still need breaks so it's ok to have your cheat days. After all we're only human and we will have relapses if we work ourselves too hard. Similar to the concept goku was teaching his son when he suggested they'd take a break from training and enjoy themselves every now and then. In real life it's hard to stay focused, let alone find a great opportunity like this. But if you create a plan similar to the Z fighters and stick to it, you can see similar improvements in whatever area you personally want to improve. Maybe it's improving your speech, maybe it's getting better at talking to girls, maybe it's public speaking, maybe it's programming, whatever it is STAY FOCUSED purely on that task everyday you wake up. When you come back from work or school, get back to it like its an addiction and eventually it will become an addiction. Once you're addicted to it, it's almost impossible not to notice the improvements. Anyways that's my post to prove that I'm not a bot. I'm a hardcore Dragon Ball Z fan.
