Crazy Awesome Legend

I was just wandering if we could ever improve on democracy. It has many flaws after all.

I might be asking the impossible but is there no way we can have a government that doesn't limit its policies because of corporations? One where a majority vote actually matters? Where the head of state assuming there even is one can't legislate regressive policies? Where we can vote to fire politicians we aren't happy with? Election campaigns that don't cost nearly as much money. And a cabinet where the members are actually qualified to do their jobs. JEREMY HUNT.

82% of the world's wealth went to 1% of the world's population in 2017... the problem is capitalism taken to it's greatest extremes with no accountability or empathy from those at the top of the pyramid. I don't think many people became a billionaire without being a sociopath though. Imagine having billions and thinking you somehow deserve it? Imagne anyone suing the NHS because you lost out on an opportunity to make money off of sick children (Virgin). Baffling to me.

I'm not a politics expert so all I can think of is that the people should stop being lied to regarding voting. They try and make it seem like our vote during elections for the president is important but in the end it doesn't mean much. We have the electoral college for good reason and on top of it our elections have been rigged before. So these commercials with celebrities telling us who we should vote for are a joke
