Some of you guys might remember that back in the day we had a custom DBZF server for Minecraft. It was actually a lot of fun and gave the users another way to connect with one another.

I’m bringing this up now because mobile users can connect with pc users now, meaning that most, if not all people could play together now. Would this be something that we could bring back or is it out of the question?

Edit: I’m just going to look into hosting a server myself. Once/If it becomes available, I’ll post details in Falconia probably.

So there are two revisions of minecraft. The Java version and the C++ version that Microsoft implemented. If you originally bought the Java version, you have a code to also download the C++ version. The two are not compatible and only the C++ version allows you to connect with other platforms.
That being said, somehow someway, my coupon code was used and I don't know where or on what computer. I'd have to buy the C++ version outright to play.

Also, hosting from a single access point is always laggy and nearly unplayable. A dedicated host is usually needed to make it any fun. Much like what Tim did back then.
I agree, it was fun and i'd love to do it again especially with all the new additions to the game. The only issue I see is money and who is going to pay for it. Also, if someone is paying for it, you're obligated to play it otherwise you're wasting that persons money. So until those issues become settled, I don't expect a revisit.
