Super at its best is better than anything in this entire franchise, at its worst, it's arguably the worst in the franchise, so Super has quite the range, lol. GT is consistently good, and falters every now and then. I'm gonna have to give it to Super thanks to this most recent arc.

GT's animation is okay but none of it's fights ever really excited me, that may be more the choreography than the animation though.

The fights in GT never felt that weighty with the attacks and the ki blasts always seemed underwhelming.

When Super's not being lazy, the animation can be quite good. Unfortunately, it can be lazy and we've seen the results. Frankly, the animation for Super should never have gone below the quality we saw in the Goku vs Black fight. That should have been the bare minimum for a series as popular as this one and with as much time they had to work on it, especially in this day and age.

And then episodes such as Goku vs Jiren or Vegetto vs Zamasu could be used for certain episodes that are intended to have an even greater quality to them. It should never have gotten as bad as it did in the Battle of Gods Arc and definitely the ROF Arc. It would be one thing if there was a bad frame here or there but it was consistently bad.

I don't think anything in GT compares to Takahashi's work in 114 and 122. Nor does anything in GT compare to the abominations that were episode 5 and most of the Goku vs Freeza fight from 24-26.

DBS's art has been remarkably garbage, for the most part. The only episodes that were well-drawn overall have been 1, 2, 13 and 34. Other episodes certainly have well-drawn scenes, but for the most part, those episodes are drawn mediocre to terrible.

GT certainly had its share of badly drawn episodes, but there were still plenty of episodes that were well drawn overall. Episode 5 (Goku vs. Ledgic), episode 19 (Goku vs. Rilld), episode 35 (SS4 introduction) and episode 40 (Piccolo dies) come to mind.
