Bloodborne was crisp and excellent, it was easier but only because the design wasn't as bad.
Could not disagree more. Bloodborne is easier because parrying is child's play and you can parry just about everything.
So that means that you are actually a "parry king" :D

Beware not to cross path with me then ... we ll see if you can parry me :D

I've gotten to Dragonslayer Armour. He seems pretty difficult, but I'm confident I'll kick his a*** tonight.

He's a bit rough, but I'd say he's on the easy side of bosses once you know his attack pattern.

Well I beat him. It took forever but it's done. Now I await the next boss. Out of curiosity how many more are there?

Nice, you'll find the last boss a lot easier than them.

I think a lot of the belief that Dark Souls 1 is the hardest comes from the fact it had by far the fewest quality of play elements. It had the biggest most interconnected map by accident to start with, which lead to fewer bonfires in the game (there were originally a decent handful more) and the estus-per-area system was removed for a reason even though people look back on it fondly now.

The frames were also a serious issue, more subtle but more broken than in DS2. A lot of people saying the games got easier is definitely adapting to the formula but in the case of DS1 it's also because the actual core gameplay was very clunky and unforgiving in a bad way. I had more times in DS1 where I genuinely could not accept that a death was my own fault than I did in any of the other games. Even DS2's abysmal invicibilty frames being tied to a stat I wasn't aware of until after clearing Drangleic castle.

But then DS3 was my first and I fatrolled my way through the whole game on my initial playthrough because I didn'tb realise my weight capacity was crossed until I reached the Soul of Cinder, so this series has normally challenged me in ways it never meant to.

I'm really excited for the remaster because I love the more epic lore of the first game. It feels more present and important whereas 2 and 3 feel kind of like everything has withered and died and you're really the last resort of a world that is nothing but history, even if that was the point in 3. I just hope they fix some of the technical issues and make it a bit prettier because the first game looks very, very ugly to me these days.

Demon's Souls > Bloodborne > Dark Souls > Dark Souls II > Dark Souls III

That's how I'd rank them in order of difficulty. I haven't finished Demon's Souls but something tells me I'd still find it harder than the rest even if I did. I almost feel tempted to put Bloodborne on the first spot because of the damn chalices, though.

The only ones I've played are Dark Souls III and Bloodborne. Idk, I feel like Dark Souls III was probably harder. Bloodborne starts off harder, but you can level up right away and that is a huge help. Dark Souls III progressively gets harder while Bloodborne pretty much is consistent. Bloodborne does get harder, but if you keep your leveling up consistently it isn't so bad. As far as NG+ goes, I'd say Bloodborne is harder. Although I haven't beaten a NG+ on Bloodborne yet. It took me forever to actually die in my Dark Souls III NG+.
