I beat three bosses in a week. Not something I expected to do. And I'm working on beating another one.

Yeah I don't get why people quit instantly after paying money for the game. I don't blame my roommate since he borrowed it, but I mean the boss really wasn't that bad. The rest of the game so far has been pretty freaking hard and frustrating. Beat the second boss, my goal is to beat one boss a day but I don't know how realistic that is.
Good luck with the Abyss Watchers...those dudes are total f***ing dicks.

Took me so many tries, I think I actually uploaded a video of my winning strategy. Which was basically run around in circles and do a tiny amount of damage.

They're a damn punishing boss so early in the game.

PROTIP Invest in Faith until you can use that Prayer with a Chime to give you regen for a while, it's super helpful. You can basically get yourself another few Estus' worth of healing.
It's great for if you want to heal yourself between fights but don't want to use an Estus.
Oh yeah haha. I was watching one of my friends today get recked by the Abyss Watchers. He almost beat it on his first try, but after that he wasn't doing too hot.

I'm done playing for tonight, but I'm going to go give that tree guy a try tomorrow.

Played a lot of Dark Souls III today. Defeated Crystal Saga, Abyss Watchers, and High Lord Wolnir.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I remember lots of the bosses being really meh in 3.

I beat a few of them first try within like a minute and was just left like "wut"

Can't remember their names but that one that uses magic and goes in and out of the ground, I'm not sure it ever hit me I just kept running at it and strafing around and it had absolutely no chance.
Get yoself a Dark Sword they're pretty damn good for an early weapon, I used several of them with different enchantments. Healing one for that awesome regen and then Holy, Lightning or Fire for extra damage.

Short swords are OP as heck.

I always end up dying a whole lot on every boss, except for Bordt, High Lord Wolnir, Deacons of the Deep, and Crystal Sage. My biggest challenge was Abyss Watchers.

First boss I beat on my fourth try. Bordt I beat on my fourth try. Crystal Sage took me many tries. Abyss Watchers I beat on my second try. Wolnir I beat on my second try, really I should've beaten him on my first though. I know Deacons of the Deep is the next boss I need to fight since he drops that doll I need. Just haven't gotten to him yet.

Ah I never beat that guy. Since he was optional I just kind of gave up and left. I'll probably go back eventually and try to beat him again.

He's my least favorite so far in that game, so I feel you. His hitbox is annoying.

I hate gimmick boss fights like the Greatwood where you have to do a specific thing or hit them in a specific spot in order to deal damage instead of just fighting them normally. Wolnir is a gimmick boss as well, but not as bad.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

The Twin Princes are the ones that f***ed me up the most, I genuinely had more trouble with them than the last boss and the secret one.
I must have lost like 50 times, and I even sank so low as summoning help.

Help that died and I beat them on my own the next day, so my streak of doing it all alone is unbroken technically

Actually the more I think about it so many bosses in 3 were super easy. Abyss Watchers I found hard because each individual Watcher is pretty tough, all the others with multiple enemies are piss easy. Like those ones who do a heap of magic(actually I think it's one witch or something but she makes copies of herself)

Think I'm going to get Dark Souls remastered for sure and check it out, I always hear folk talking about Smough and the other one being extremely difficult...

I know, but he's still a poorly designed enemy. "Destroy the three magical things" shouldn't be the formula for a Dark Souls boss.

Honestly, the Abyss Watchers' first phase is a joke because all you do is wait for the third one to start attacking the other two, then sneak attack the main one. It's the second phase that gave me so much trouble.

All right, update for what I've done for today. Defeated Deacons of the Deep on my first try. Beat Pontiff Sulyvahn on first try as well. I'm on Aldrich, the Devourer of Gods and I've battled him four times, but still haven't beaten him. I'm getting on again later tonight, so hopefully I can beat him. My plan is to beat this game by Friday so I can use my free time to play FighterZ. At the pace I'm going, I should be able to.
