Just because it's universally known doesn't make it okay.

It's fine though, I'll leave it be.

Why is being black the notable thing here? Surely it should be "There's a new/fourth Powerpuff girl".

I don't really care about her myself since I don't watch the new series. I do think that the general PPG design just looks bad on a taller character though.

Doesn't really matter if I'm the target audience though, I can still say it got ruined because the older cartoon was good stuff made for kids and this new crap isn't.
It's made for kids. You're not a kid anymore.
This a very very weak argument. If that's the case then people thoughts on 99% of anime topics here are invalid. Comparing Boruto to Naruto. "Oh why it matters it's for kids". Many stuff targeted for kids are still hold to a standard and can be reviewed and opinated on. The new PPG has it's charms and impact on kids today but it's a reason why many kids TODAY still watch and prefer the original.

I'll stop being that person when people stop treating skin colour like it matters. Tis totally racist to assume that being black means anything.

PPG is made for Cartoon Network, most animes air on other channels. Besides, american animation is not the same as anime. With your argument I can even broaden Family Guy, The Simpsons and South Park to "being for kids". Cartoon Network is a channel for kids, that's what I've been told throughout my life.

That's not what racist means moe. And if you read the OP it wasn't about it being a new Powerpuff. More of surprise of when was there a black one. As my reaction wasn't positive or negative. It was neutral as I typed my first reaction to it. Even added emojis just in case someone tried it.

It was more of a "oh she's black" thing. You totally misinterpreted it in the worst way possible. I'm very used to this as this happens ALOT of times in comics. I never implied the skin color meant anything. So how can you jump to conclusion? If a new Saiyan with orange hair appeared. And I made a topic sauing there's a full breed Orange hair Saiyan, would you have said the same thing? Was this your reaction when people was people was mentioning Trunks new blue hair?

So yes stop being that person. Nobody made this a skin color thing till your comment was made. We wouldn't be talking about if her skin color mattered (which it f***ing don't) had the comment not been made.

Most anime air early in the morning for KIDS. In both USA and Japan. And the family Guy thing is different as that an Adult cartoon. Alot of popular anime are for kids.

That has not been my experience. Sure, there are animes for kids, but there also animes for grown-ups. Dragon Ball Z, Full Metal Jacket, Cowboy Bebop for instance.

That's what you've been told, meaning you haven't experienced or checked it out.

I mean, come on, there used to be quite a few bloody anime and even a couple of bloody or messy cartoons in CN.

Again, weak argument.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

I guess it is for kids but not in the same veins PPG is or Courage for that matter is. DBZ's age demographic is between 12 to 18 years old compared to PPG's who age demographic shouldn't exceed 10 years old at the max, I think.

Emmeth have you seen old 90s-early2000s cartoons? There was sex jokes and even hidden sex scenes in them.

So it's the demographic between children and adults. Adolescents. It applies more to us than Cartoon Network shows.
