Dose this picture of freiza bother anyone else or is it just me.

He seems oddly buff and has eyebrow ridges and hes never had those. Maybe a little between the eyes at times but never on the sides of his head. Its like they gave him his golden eyes in final form.

With DBS this sort of thing isn't very surprising tbh

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

It's just Frieza being off model for a scene, I don't see why it's such a big deal. It happened a lot of times during Z too.

Yah i have quite abit from z when i talk to people about supers animation. Most notably the gohan and cell one. I see that freiza one you put it has the middle but not the sides. I honestly think its a f*** up on the guy who drew it more so then a weird view drawing. Tho i think it looks better that way it also bothers that part of me that likes accuracy lol.
Also one of the goku pics you put looks like a witch like the cell pic i have in the top right corner lol.

Z's art quality varied quite a bit from episode to episode, but the style they were aiming for was still ten times better than Super's.

Z was also 20 yeas ago and you'd think animation quality even when it's bad for today's standards, would be superior to bad animation 20 years ago.

That’s not how it works. Do you expect modern paintings to be better than that of the renaissance because of the time difference? Do you expect movies to automatically be better than they were years ago just because of timeframe?

Time doesn’t have much to do with quality, anime really isn’t much different in that regard

Personally i think Freeza looked the most badass in Z just after he achieved his final form against Piccolo, Gohan and Krillin.
That face when he shows no emotion at all, that's the Freeza-face i like the most.

But this one ... i mean it's not bad. The art maybe is a little offscale, but it's still ok. A lot better than the ROF-arc itself.

Huh? I expect a modern machine to be able to recreate renaissance paintings or similar such quality images in far less time than the hours, months and years spent on them by the artists... Those paintings are valuable and beautiful because they are an original made by a person and what impact they had on art as a whole but modern technology could recreate them fairly easily. So yes, I expect animation techniques to have improved to the point where it's easier and faster to create decent images. Otherwise all animation would have always been on the level of OPM and the like 20 years ago and it wasn't.
