Crazy Awesome Legend

I was just wandering if frequently using stairs is bad for our knees. It might help explain why so many older people require knee surgery.

Thala na Gethu!

Walking up over 50 stairs everyday is bad

Not 10 or 20 stairs, which actually burns your calories.

Climbing trees & walking up stairs are 2 different things.

When you climb, you utilize every limb, but walking up stairs puts the burden heavily upon your knee joints.

Despite regarded as strongest & yeah, one of the large joints, knee joint is highly susceptible to wear & tear as well as dislocation

Elderly getting their knee joint surgery done could be due to repetitive exertion on their knee menisci & cartilage
