Calling it garbage is rather harsh. Honestly, it and the Champa arcs have been the least offensive, and I'd say this one has been more exciting, so I'd say it's mediocre at worst.

if I am gonna be fair I think the Champa arc was more satisfying ,while this arc is so long yet most fights aren't that great.at least in Champa arc it was a short arc and most fights were fun ,especially the ones with hit.itvwas also interesting to know Saiyan from other universes while this arc just shows useless characters like ribrianne and the like Edited by jason vorhees, Dec 11 2017, 03:40 AM.

Hardly. I haven't watched super since like... episode 3? And once I heard they were bringing Frieza back I started watching it again from whatever episode involved Frieza being resurrected. From there I haven't lost interest. And mind you I have watched clips of the previous arcs beforehand. Nothing before Frieza's second resurrection has caught my attention. There have been weak moments, but overall I enjoy it. As for fights, I enjoyed the fight with Goku and Kefla quite a bit. I enjoyed Gohan fighting the Yardrat, and then him against Frieza. I enjoyed Cabba vs Monna. I'm sure there were others but I can't recall. |

Most of the small fights leave no impression on me. They just feel like bland appetizers while I wait for a real meal. I pay then little mind. Regardless, even those aren't garbage. |

The arc as a whole is a bit on the bland side, but I don't take it seriously enough to care. I just watch it so casually that I can easily get entertainment out of nearly any episode. |

I've honestly really haven't enjoyed it, it really gets too me and I've tried to ignore it but can't because it gets brought up in my news feeds or when I'm looking for FighterZ news. 1. Battle Royale plots are ones I don't particularly like to begin with but the tone, length and honestly just some of the plot points make it just feel unwatchable for me. It's on par with other bad Battle Royale works like DC's The Culling or Marvel's Avengers Arena. 2. Zen-Oh, at this point, I just want them gone, I don't find them cute and funny, Chronoa was that, they just aren't and while the idea of them is interesting, the execution has been awful and just wish they stop cutting back to them, no I don't find them committing genocide funny. 3. It makes it clear how awful the ethics in Dragon Ball are and kind of just wants them to let humanity know what's going on at this point. No more awful mass mind wipes, no more keeping them in the dark when their lives are on the line. The Z-Fighters are kind of no better than Ozymandias at this point. And with the Arc itself, even if there is a massive reset button or something, the sheer trauma, hate and sadness that must have occurred in universe is unignorable for me. Why should I be happy these people who are fighting for their sheer existence and the fates of Trillions or laugh at the Z-Fighters jokes? 4. I just don't like Goku anymore. This is something the End of Z had as well, but Super made it worse for me and before Goku was one of fav characters and superheroes, now I can't. The Goku from the King Piccolo arc-Most of Cell is gone and I don't like who we got instead. And because of how Goku is treated, there is going to be no fallout because Goku can never be wrong in Super and death is meaningless. ... That came out more angry and dramatic than I realized. |

It's not without its faults but I enjoy it. My biggest gripe is the direction of the universe 6 saiyans being treated like newbies who have no idea what they're doing yet can hang with the top tier fighters. I'd have loved to see badass saiyans who had been through similar experiences to Goku and Vegeta and had ssj and ssj2 and some strong female saiyan warriors, Goku and Vegeta being ahead because they found out about god ki and have returned from death multiple times, Goku has even trained in Otherworld. Goku and Vegeta can still be influential masters to their universe 6 proteges without uni 6 saiyans having to be seemingly green kids with no experience. |

I have to disagree on the first statement. Think about it like this: if they didn't tell people and win the tournament, it's like nothing happened at all and life goes on. If they didn't tell people and lost the tournament, they'd simply be erased anyways so it wouldn't have really mattered. But what if they told people? 100% anarchy and terror would break loose. Just try to imagine what an emotional impact must have knowing that you may be deleted from existence in a couple of days. Crimes, suicides, chaos, would it be really wise to let them know? Regarding the second statement... Well, it certainly lacks the tension and the immerse that their situation should produce. You either fight and win for your team or else you'd be responsible for taking the lives of trillions of people. And even if you win, you're still responsible for taking the lives of other trillions of people. There no way you can get out of this mess with clean hands. I can see why some characters may not be disturbed by this delicate aspect, but everyone else with the least bit of empathy should feel both the urgency to eliminate opponents for the lives they are devoted to, and great distress for the ones they eliminate and so many lives that are brutally disconnected from the living. It's hardly the time and the place for a copious amount of comic relief. Or, as some certain characters do, feel excited and let rivals power up, thus lowering the chances that you and your close ones will get to see another day after, just because you want your share of fun. I know that the series is not really that deep and not meant to mentally challenge the viewer too much, but they are downplaying a lot of things. All in all, garbage is a bit exaggerated. It is quite entertaining, not top notch, but okay if you are willing to ignore plot devices and such stuff. |

There was a point when Gohan eliminated that duplicate guy, after he was eliminated and his universe destroyed, Gohan saw he had a family and seemed to be affected by what's going on. Later on this emotional aspect was no longer picked up. That's a shame really. When Beerus lost his brother, it felt like he was supressing his emotions, but again, nothing was done with this later on. U3 erasure more felt like carnaval-show than a universe being erased. Maybe no one has the power to rebel against the Grand Priest, let alone the Zeno's. But a little bit more tension and drama concerning the stakes would have been nice. Later on in the show this element somehow suddenly reappeared, with Vegeta thinking about Cabba in order to give some 'explaination' for Vegeta's transformation. It depends on the writer really. Besides these issues, i nonetheless enjoyed the final arc of Super. It had some great action sequences and highly creative battles. And let's hope the best is yet to come. |
