I mean what if you woke up one day and you were in like 1920 or something? You stay in the same location but you just happen to be there in another time. What would you do? I would find myself in the middle of a field. I'd have to walk about a mile before I found any houses. Then I'd go door to door asking people if they'd be generous enough to offer me a room to stay in. Think about it. I'm stuck in the past with no money and no food. It's pretty much all I could do. Heck knows what I'd use to substitute my colostomy bag. |

Depends what era really. Wouldn't we contract a bunch of diseases from a certain point onwards (or rather, backwards)? Using the 1920s, I'm not sure. Idk how long this house has been here, but probably not that long. So yeah, probably similar to you. The 1920s would be boring as f*** so I'd probably just kill myself. |

"Then you've got the chance to do better next time." "Next time?" "Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is." | |

We actually have superior immune systems to the people of the past. Plus we're vaccinated against a lot of things too. Another thing we need to think about is that there was no free healthcare before 1948. And even if somehow you made enough money to afford a doctor, the standards were really poor back in the day. I'm pretty sure even my medical knowledge is superior to that of your average 1920s physician. |
