![]() Arguably the best of the killer crocodile subgenre, I made this thread simply because I just got reminded of this movie's existence, though it's always had a special place in my heart. It's got good practical effects, good CGI, a cool giant crocodile, and is somewhat original, at least when it comes to the premise. And besides, the forum needs a bit more activity, so why not make a thread that might grab people's attention? Just don't watch the Syfy sequels, those are not great(it's very unfortunate that they f***ed up a crossover between Lake Placid and Anaconda, which is another good movie for a thread). |
Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power. | |

This was just on TV like an hour ago, but it was almost over when I caught it. :/ I love this movie anyway. It's campy, but not too much. It still takes things seriously when necessary. I don't know if I agree that it's the best of the crocodile/alligator sub-genre, though. I think Alligator still holds that crown, but this is a very close second. But those sequels, man. Ugh. What the hell? They're downright abysmal, and get worse with each one. The crossover was total butt lint. |
