This is the Eden Project. A functional biodome in Cornwall, England. Inside the two biomes are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments.

Now I'm not saying that this will save everyone. However if we can build enough of them than we can hopefully produce enough food to feed enough of the population to keep civilisation going. The biggest issue is going to be a lack of sunlight. Artificially producing sunlight could get expensive and resource heavy. Something that might not be in abundance in the event that Yellowstone erupts.

Still, I think it's a whole lot better than my other idea where we build a giant barrier around the area where the ash cloud will form.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

I used to worry about this a lot but reading up about it I think we'll do okay, it'll still f*** up a lot of the planet but it doesn't sound like it'll actually be the world ending apocalypse things make it sound like.

It's not going to blow up half of America in one go and take the rest of us with it, it'll most likely have a slow but long eruption. There's no way that much pressure could build up and be released all at once, unless Yellowstone is some kind of magical rock that holds together better.
The ocean is most definitely f***ed though, we definitely need to find good ways to filter and/or create more water.

Yeah it's definitely exaggerated, but living in Nebraska I'd probably be screwed.
