Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Anime adaptation of the series by Hiroya Oku, creator of GANTZ.

Damn good so far, very dark as one would expect from this author.

It's about an elderly man that leads a rather depressing life with a family that doesn't care about him in a life full of regret and loneliness.
Shorlty after finding out he has cancer and choosing not to tell his family he is struck by and killed by an alien craft, which rebuilds his body using extremely advanced alien technology, which leaves him as some sort of android full of tech.
After saving a homeless man from a group of psychotic teenagers he decides to use his newfound abilities for good.

Only he was not the only one killed by and rebuilt by the alien craft...
A teenage boy named Shishigami Hiro gains the same abilities Inuyashiki, however the boy is a sociopath and uses these abilities to slaughter innocent people at his own whim.

Only 2 episodes so far but looks to be my favourite for the season. Never seen a main character like this before, a depressing old man? Not some cliché shounen hero that never stops shouting? Count me in.

It dives right in to it as well there's not a slow build up to both characters meeting that drags on too long.

Pretty powerful so far, they can fly, fall from great heights unharmed, shoot invisible bullets/air pressure from their fingers, fire target seeking laser beams and interface with all manner of technology.

So far as of episode 3 it's been a damn good show, both these guys have identical abilities but as people they couldn't be more different.
