Rey is actually training to use the Force rather than having it handed to her by the plot gods! I'm very interested to know what the dynamic is with Kylo and Rey now.

Favourite Manga dat boi	I loved TFA, and if I see any needless hating in this thread, I will end you. This trailer looks awesome. There's a lot going on. It's all too much to process! I'm torn between the Kylo/Rey scene being toward the end of the movie or being just a dream/vision. I'd feel a little cheated if it was the latter. Also curious about what they're going to do with Leia. It'd be a shock if she and Han Solo both died, but then again, what else are they going to do with her character now that she's gone...? Either way, that scene between her and Kylo looks like it will take place early on in the movie (because of the cybo-bandage on his cheek), and didn't they say she would be in most of the movie? I'm not totally sold on Leia dying.

That's about the only thing that wouldn't cause some sort of outrage. Although I bet people will want her to go out with a bang, which would be cool but...the actress kind of isn't around to do it sadly. Hopefully not some hamfisted "Oh I have cancer..." moment at the end of this and then she's just dead next movie. I think she has to die though, considering who she is it'd be weird if she just bummed about doing nothing next movie.

Avoiding spoilers for this for two weeks after the film comes out is going to be hellish... Hopefully there's nothing immediately spoilerable "Han dies" was so easy for people to spread everywhere. Having not seen the trailers or looked at any plot details, thus not knowing what direction it's going in... I hope it's not just going to be a bunch of mirrors to older stuff. Like Luke trains Rey and promptly dies for reasons. It'd be so damn cool if he took part in the action, maybe not fighting Kylo but just...something.

Cuz, that would be just too gauche. And I would rather have a supercalifragilistic chick than a mary sue or a bimbo. Also, wish she has more skimpy clothing in this one.

She should be as unique as possible, within the realms of reason of course. I'm still kinda hoping she's not in any way related to any known character, that would be pretty funny. All these theories and "Nah, she's just some nobody who happens to have ~~plot~~ Force abilities"

Or maybe just slightly odd due to his isolation. Let's just hope he's not a whacky fun loving uncle type character...
