GT or Super?

Honestly I am sick of seeing all of this support for gt all of sudden despite super having arguably more content then gt. And I gotta say my experience has been way more enjoyable watching super then anything gt could do.

And after episode 110... what more has to be said?

GT does some things better and I'm not a GT hater but overall I think I prefer Super.

Super has so many more epic moments. And it also really expands on the world, introducing so much to franchise which I think is awesome

I've always liked GT, Super never had anything to do with it XD

Z > GT > DB > Super

It's what I've always gone with and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

GT is better. To put it simply, Super is botched middle of the road concepts, whereas GT is interesting concepts executed in a mediocre fashion. Neither series is particularly good, but GT has more to offer IMO. I will give Super credit where it's due, and I'll admit the action is significantly better at this point, but it's going to need more than pretty action sequences to maintain my investment, and unfortunately it just does too many things that piss me off. That's the anime though. If I were to compare the manga of Super to GT, I'd probably give it to the Super, seeing as how the manga executes said middle of the road ideas competently.

Lots of things about Super annoy me but GT is just boring. I watch it and I'm bored, can't say the same about super, for as much as the scaling and wasted character opportunities irk me, I'm never really bored.

Super is my favorite, especially since the tournament arc started.

It fixed some of the problems that Z had such as non-saiyans being worthless, in which GT did something even worse(If you're not Goku, you're automatically useless. Vegeta was this until the last few episodes), it has some of the best fights(Jiren vs Goku is the best fight in Dragon Ball, and I genuinely think that) Whereas GT fights were decent at best. GT had good ideas, but only the baby saga was executed well.
Not to mention, it deepened the dragon ball world, which GT didn't do.

I do think that episode 63 of GT is better than anything Super has done (And to be fair that episode is one of my favourites in the entire franchise), but as a whole I like Super much more.

I just find GT to be pretty boring to watch, which is the worst thing a form of entertainment can be.

For me, it goes: DB > Z >= Super >> GT.

To this day; I can't even finish GT. It's just so boring.

DBZ > DB > Super >> GT this is my Order

I never could get into GT because everything started so boring.
I also don't like that everyone is so old like Krillin.
And the Fights were simple unimpressive.

To me, the only time Super has been better is during its animation (You know, when its actually being good and something you'd expect out of 2014-2017 and not the godawful joke we had to see in things like the Resurrection F. Arc and during some of its story moments. Again, while flawed, Zamasu is easily a more complex villain than, well anyone in the series bar Fat Boo really.

Honestly, when Super gets off its lazy a*** and decides to try, it can be decent, even good at times. But it's few and far between. GT was always consistent, or at least, far more consistent with its work than Super was. GT may never get as good as Super's best but GT never gets as bad as Super's worst either.

I didn't like how everyone except goku barely did anything in GT.

In Super vegeta's nearly as much the main hero as goku is. And it's nice to see piccolo and gohan doing stuff too. Gohan and vegeta both great got character development too. Future trunks coming back is nice too

And like I said Super expanded on the world so much more and in a better way. We have a bunch of new characters and most of them aren't bad guys like in GT

The action in Super is better hands down

GT has gogeta and ssj4, baby saga, and the shadow dragon saga. Those were the strong points imo. And also, at least when compared to the Super anime, the power scale is not so insane that everyone is ridiculously strong.

And also like EMIYA said GT more consistent with being good compared to Super.

In the end overall I say Super especially if it's the manga since it's more consistently good than both the Super anime and GT

Also, let's be honest, its easy enough to give Super praise now, since its actually trying. I mean I think the Tournament of Power is an outlandish waste of time and I'd wish we'd get to the point. But hey, it's a hell of a lot better than watching Episode 05. It kicks the a*** out of anything we had to watch in the Resurrection F. Arc. There's a lot of unnecessary and dragged out bits in the Tournament of Power.

But it's better than watching Oolong's 3 minute Rock/Paper/Scissors match with Beerus.

See it's nice to praise Super when its actually trying but don't forget, it wasn't always like this. Super was not always Vegetto vs Merged Zamasu, or the inspiring story telling of the Zamasu Arc. We didn't have Freeza's devilish cunning or the sweet animation of Goku vs Jiren. We didn't have Vegeta's characterization of a loving father, though Vegeta's characters seems to be rocky at times. We didn't have Gohan being strong, or the humans being important.

We had this...

Super's soundtrack is better, and the best fights are better than the best fights of GT.

But damn, the anime fails all around at story telling. I like the manga though.

Super (manga) >>> Super (anime) >~ GT

My Dear Melancholy,

That's like asking do I want flat soda or spoiled milk. Both series are jhi like average with certain charms in between. Super has better action but in my opinion is boring. The Tournament of Power is boring. Goku vs Jiren is boring as watching paint dry. GT had lame action but was funny.
