Maybe building upon the multiverse aspect that was introduced in the first arc and never expanded on...

A good antagonist with an original concept and design, possibly several. Future Trunks arc has elements of this but it's bogged down by all the time traveling shenanigans and repetitive circular encounters with Black and Zamasu. If they're going to do an arc then I would prefer one with a format that's similar to the original manga script like King Piccolo or Freeza with some duration and extended focus applied. Future Trunks arc was largely confined to a few encounters with the same faces and backdrop.

If possible they could start to open up the lore on the Makai world. We know so little about that place beyond Dabura's subsidiary appearance in the Buu arc and Kaioshin's brief commentary on the guy's background. Did you know that there are supposedly Makaioshin that exist? Why can't Toriyama and Toei expand on that premise?

They should do something with the Demon Realm that Dabura came from. I vaguely remember seeing somewhere that Toriyama had said the Demon Realm would have Makaishin since it parallels the normal Universe. If that were true then maybe their would be Demon Gods of Destruction or something, since their lives would be binded to the Makaishin. I'll try to find where I saw that. I'm not sure how good it would turn out though. Other than that I can only think of Goku and co. fighting guys from the 4 Universes not participating in the Tournament.

But knowing this series we'll end up getting Resurrection 'Z'. Posted Image

I want to see the end of the Dragon Balls and the heroes' safety net.

The villains die once and they're defeated but the heroes have Dragon Balls, senzu beans, kais to give them renewed life, fusion, the ROSAT a god of destruction onside and Whis' time reversal.

Every arc throughout the series since Namek the heroes have lost at first due to their own folly and not the genius and strategy of their villains.

Remember, if the heroes had only one chance at all this like villains do, Goku would have ended his time amongst the living with a power level of 430.

Look what Freeza did with a second chance at life, he left Z power in the dust.

I want to see a villain who levels the playing field.

Edit: to be fair Zamasu kind of did this, took the body of a powerful saiyan, he gained immortality, destroyed the Dragon Balls, found a timeline without Beerus, killed the remaining kais (and therefore gods of destruction) and incapacitated the angels and utilised fusion.

But then the arc just ends kind of weird with Black and Zamasu seeming a bit one note.

I want to see our heroes from the present put in a desperate situation in their world, not Trunks' future.

There are still 4 (correct me if I'm wrong) Universes left, with bigger mortal level. I'm sure they have plenty of interesting fighters and possible villains. Apart from what the others mentioned ^, they could also create a proper and elaborated context for the Z fighters to interact with them.

Probably some light-hearted arc, like they did after RoF and the Zamasu arc.

Slice of life episodes with universe 6.

But for real, I'd like to see Super actually get to Oob. Maybe a few episodes for the 28th Budokai (making changes where needed to fit in with Super's new info) and then a new story with Oob.

I'll be honest, I just want Super to end at this point. It sucks, and nothing it can do at this point will change that. That said, it's likely to continue after this, so with that in mind, I suppose I'd want it to explore the creator of the Super Dragon Balls.

That, too. I'm really curious to see if I was right about Zalama being a Namekian God. Just like Saiyans can ascend a pyramid of status and power, I don't see why other species wouldn't have such privilege - and if so, why they shouldn't; that means Piccolo has a chance himself. This idea sounds really cool to me, but they'd have to think of a really good buildup for this. Because right now, it would stir as much as a 'meh' from the viewers.

A possible scenario would be like this: they have to make a grand, urgent wish; the Super Balls are somehow destroyed; they go on a journey to find the creator and negotiate with him; etc etc.

I mean, we have character obtaining movement mastery not through training their mind or anything, but by just transforming. The original build-up was that it was something that was probably going to be learned and done through by just feeling it out, not popping into a form that miraculously opens up your mind and body (somehow).

At this point they may as well just give everyone God forms for marketing purposes. Not like they're bothering to explain it with any great detail or building up to it.

Saiyans are naturally adaptive warriors, they don't necessarily have a god in their history or anything, they just adapt god ki to their bodies in order to become more powerful. Same way their bodies adapt after near death to become stronger so they won't die from the same attack in the future. I don't think the form itself is providing Goku with natural reflexes, he just adapted that ability because Jiren reacts instantaneously, Goku is in a life and death battle so his body adapted to one up his opponent, it's different from his safe training with Whis. It doesn't come through training the mind, the whole point is not using the mind before you move.
