If Vegetto remained

I'm thinking of what could have happened.

I hate that the potara fusion has been changed to one hour and that the Dragon Balls can also separate them.

I think if Vegetto had been permanent it could have made things interesting, Vegetto isn't Goku or Vegeta, he is an entirely new being who only exists because of fusion, so despite Goku and Vegeta preferring to fight alone, Vegetto is alone and how he came to be doesn't really matter, he would want to exist.

So tension could form between characters, at first it could be funny but then Chi Chi and Bulma want their husbands back, Goten and Trunks want their fathers, Vegetto could have some issues with wanting to fight but having nobody to challenge him (I'd have him stronger than Beerus and Whis).

Gohan could take it upon himself to summon Shenron to split the fusion, it's not within the dragon's power to do so. Vegetto is pissed off that Gohan tried to unmake him and this could lead to a confrontation between everyone and Vegetto, who wants a fight anyway.

Bulma realises that they need the Super Dragon Balls to reverse the fusion but find that The Grand Priest has already gathered them for the tournament of Power because he remembers the uni 6 tournament.

Finding out that the universe is on the line everyone has to team up again and Gohan gets some training in the ROSAT with Vegetto, better explaining his power.

With their universes on the line, other kais offer up their earrings to their team members ecause they all need that advantage, a fusion of Frost and Hit for example.

I have no problem with the time limit or that the dragon can separate them. Shenron is more powerful then the kai. Vegito is not a new person. goku and vegeta are more then conscious within vegito. So there would no problem between any of them for trying to defuse them.

Yeah it would have added a lot of humor to the series. I was expecting them to stay fused until after the Tournament of Power tbh. I figured they'd fight Beerus as well.

I wish he would've stuck around for awhile. His appearance in Super didn't really amount to much if anything other than fan service.

The interactions would've been worth it, especially Beerus, the wives, and kids.

I was so looking forward to seeing Chi Chi and Bulma fight over him.

I meant it could have been a little darker as well as funny, with Vegetto being a new person, he has Goku and Vegeta's memories but that doesn't mean he's them. The other characters wishing for him to split would be like him ceasing to exist, could put a rift between him and other characters.
