And lots of bullet resistant beings catch bullets multiple times so that statement is irrelevant. Nope. Tao's PL is supposed to be 240. Roshi goes from 139 in the Saiyan Saga, 180 when serious and then a pamphlet for Tree of Might has him at 350. So Tao at the very least would either be above "moon level" or not far below. And he gets wiped out by a grenade. Doesn't kill him of course but a grenade would do basically nothing to a moon, not ever. So yeah, can we stop with the "moon level" distinctions? Especially when we're talking about characters from other series with totally different resistances? Typically ones that actually make some sense unlike Dragon Ball.

Unless you're talking about Cyborg Tao, but it doesn't make sense since Tien at BoZ was 250, so in the 23rd Budokai he'd have to be lower than 250.

He's much lower in the 21st and normal Tao is higher than 21st Roshi.

Tao being 240 means he is really close to King Piccolo which is ridiculous.

And Tao's exact PL is irrelevant, he's seemingly stronger or at least equal to Roshi and a grenade still wrecked him. If we arbitrarily say Tao is about 200 and then Goku gets like 900 with his Super KHH apparently then someone what four and a half times weaker than Goku gets wiped out by a grenade when with a Ki blast Goku can destroy a moon. Does that not scream split durability... This dude survives a God damn Kamehameha wave and he's more bothered about his outfit being destroyed. A grenade finishes him off because split durability. If you can be pretty much killed by a grenade around PL 200 or slightly less then there's absolutely no reason why extreme heat wouldn't be deadly well in to Saiyan Saga.

Based on everyone's reaction to how Goku was able to beat Tao he is definitely above Roshi 21st, the guy who blew up the moon.
