I'd love to see Goku, Vegeta and Freeza have to set aside their differences and all take on Jiren 3 on 1.

Gohan, really? I hope not, he'll probably be one of the last U7 fighters though. I can't imagine Vegeta being out before him though.

Edit: Even Frieza should be in longer than Gohan I think.
Why not? He's been built up since the end of the Resurrection F arc, and him being knocked out early would just waste all of the time they've spent hyping him up.
While I agree with you; you could have said the exact same thing about Krillin (although; I'm guessing that one had to do with who his VA is more than anything else in retrospect).

With that said; I'm thinking there will be more than 4 left at the end when time runs out but if there was a 4, it'd be: Jiren, Goku, Gohan and one of Hit, Toppo or a fighter from another universe.

Yeah, but he's been built up for this tournament in particular. He was made the team leader, he's been shown to be training heavily for the tournament, he asked Goku to fight him to test out his power and make sure that he's ready for the tournament. Why would they build him up for this arc without any kind of big payout? Compare him to Vegeta who hasn't had any kind of build up for the tournament. In fact, because of Bra, he's had less time to prepare than anyone else. Gohan deserves to be part of the final roster a looooooooooot more than Vegeta.
Vegeta doesn't need any build up because he's the second main character. I'm just saying, don't be surprised if Gohan isn't one of the last ones standing. He gets trashed often enough, I don't things are going to change and I hope they don't. I really don't like Gohan.

Gohan wasn't built up much at all the entire android arc...then he beat Cell.

Hype isn't everything. Cell and Gohan had no prior relationship, no beef whatsoever other than Cell just being an evil guy who needs beating.

Hype isn't everything, sure, but this is the best opportunity for Gohan to actually do something major. Would it really make more sense if he's relevant later on in the series where the opponents are potentially much, much stronger?

I don't even think there will be another arc, they've set this up like it's the final one.

I'm not saying he won't be, I'm saying he might not be.

Vegeta hasn't been hyped as a fighter this arc but he has been hyped as a family man with a new daughter to protect. So who knows.

Yeah it's probable.But there's still the other 4 universes that hasn't participated.

I predict that the mortal who is stronger than a GoD resides there. and that they're going to be the last villain; A multi-universal threat(Which Gohan might actually beat)

Okay, guys. People have been saying this stuff about Gohan all series long. He's a disappointing character that continues to disappoint. He's not going to be defeating any main antagonists or being the last fighter in the Universe Survival Arc. Every time a new saga came out for this series it was about Gohan and his return.

His positioning in the new ending makes me think he may have a major role to play.

He trained in hyperbolic time chamber, not sure how long for but I am guessing 6 months or so. He then blew it up.

Vegeta is the only one that actually trained for this tournament...the rest flapped around in filler episodes.

Goku did lots of intense battles plus Whis training...so he is 2nd. Gohan trained for 40mins from a very untrained state.

Vegeta skipped one battle....less than a days training. He then fought them in the tournament whilst Gohan has done nothing.

Vegeta got about 2 hours so one month of training. Goku has been training whilst Vegeta worried about Bulma for months maybe. Vegeta was already not training when Goku came to invite him to Whis'. Plus Goku has a 10x kaioken boost for Vegeta to bridge.

Yeah Goku is well prepared and I do think he is the strongest. But Vegeta did a month of intense training compared to 40 mins for Gohan. Has already fought Hit top 2 main threat...is SSJB...trained and fought a lot at that level. He isn't rusty going into the tournament. He is well prepared.

I somehow doubt Vegeta is going to last all the way to the end. He'll probably get knocked out when he's off-guard or some other stupid way. I also don't think Toppo will make it. He'll probably last a long time, but I'm expecting him to be eliminated to make Jiren look even more impressive as the last one on his team.
