I think vegeta will eliminate hit. As a vengeance for u 6 tournament.
and possibly jiren will eliminate vegeta. Goku or hit will eliminate toppo.
Rage kale. Will be defeated by gohan. Goham will be defeated by toppo. And so on

In the end probably goki vs jiren. Jiren will overpower goku when he comes with the limit breaking technoque and thus elominating jiren

I hope i will be mistaken and frieza will somehow blackmail the whole god roster

Either that fatass in the next episode will eliminate Vegeta for maximum upset or Jiren will take out Vegeta to make Goku look good. Hit will either be taken out by Jiren or Vegeta IMO.

Hit being eliminated by Jiren (if he IS eliminated) is almost a lock for me. Hit's too strong and careful for it to be anyone else.

Vegeta is someone I believe will be eliminated after letting his guard down in a manner very similar to Krillin so it'll likely be one of those guys we haven't seen yet but were sensed.

I think that Vegeta will be eliminated by Hit, and Hit is gonna be eliminated by Jiren.

Hit looked like he didn't really want to fight against Jiren. Could be any other reason tho

Ideally, Vegeta loses thanks to some character defect resulting in someone taking advantage and him being eliminated. I wouldn't mind it being Ribrianne next episode, but the fact she seemed to be having issues with SSJ Vegeta leads me to believe she won't be the one to remove him.

For Hit, I haven't given much thought to it, but if possible I would like to see him defeated through some ingenious manoeuvre and/or technique.

I know you aren't the biggest fan of the saiyans but hasn't Vegeta been defeated enough by his own character defects throughout the series? I'd prefer to see him take a hit for Goku or Gohan or something. I always enjoy a 'aww Vegeta does care' moment. Remember, Vegeta smiled when Goku and Gohan were fighting, so he was proud to see Gohan back in action.

I would more than anything prefer to see his genetically derived assuredness get thrown back into his face through what this tournament is supposed to represent, but I know the likelihood of this happening is next to zero. This series has an unfortunately bad habit of pedestaling Saiyans for the "cool" factor of their transformations.

Fans of Piccolo like myself have been starved of meaningful substantive content for a long time now - and to be honest, Vegeta effectively spitting on Piccolo's placement in the last tournament hasn't been forgotten. I'm not feeling all sympathetic towards Vegeta's plight of wanting to be involved in the elimination of more universes after destroying U9 when much of the U7 team has yet to receive an earnest fight of any kind.

Piccolo's relevance comes from his wisdom and training experience really.

Saiyan saga, Piccolo was paramount to defeating Raditz and then he was nothing compared to Nappa and Vegeta.

Freeza saga he was relative to Freeza's second form...or 1/120th of his full power.

Cell saga he managed to lose Cell and stall 17 for a bit.

Boo saga people complain he was weak but he trained Goten and Trunks for the fusion and had genuine moments of quick thinking genius like getting the boys in the ROSAT and stalling Boo by walking him the longest way to the room and also destroying the entrance to protect the universe from Boo. He did everything right it was everybody else's foolishness that got him in trouble.

In Super he managed to almost defeat an opponent out of his league and was only felled by an illegal poison.

The main character is a saiyan, so they are going to be propelled forward as the strongest of the strong.

Vegeta has moments of disrespect and his old angst but he's grown a lot and his moments of excitement in this tournament alongside Goku are annoying me as much as you but I want that to change and him to have a significant, poignant input in the tournament. Not just lose because he rushes in or gives in to his pride again. I've seen that countless times.

I agree with nerd, it should be a moment of self-sacrifice. Perhaps he realises that Goku is the best chance of U7 surviving, so he takes a knock-out blow for him and forces him to promise that he'll win for the sake of Bulma, Trunks and Bra, or something like that.

Piccolo's "wisdom" and "training experience" amounts to little else except common sense notions that any average joe could devise most of the time. The substance of his actions has comparable precedence from other characters. His inventiveness in combat not truly seeing anything of real note brought forth. It's not like he's using biochemistry and particle physics to overwhelm opponents many times his own power level or heal the wounded without the need for Senzu Beans. Most of what you cited ultimately served little else except to pad things out and inconsequentially throw his character a proverbial bone. If he's intended to be portrayed as some "genius" then Toyotaro and Toei have been doing a very poor job of making it seem real or impressive.

Yes, you're right that the show is going to pay extra attention to the Saiyans because the main protagonist is a Saiyan and they happen to be the most marketable facet of the series. At the same time, I don't want them falsely promoting other characters in equally bannered images and preceding episodes like they'll somehow play a significant role when most of the time they're passively doing nothing off-screen while people such as Vegeta are siphoning off close to 10% of the original 80 competitors all by himself in the first few episodes. Other members of the U7 cast have just as much personalised reasoning to fight in this tournament as Vegeta does, yet you're hardly going to see the same screen time offered to them.
