After repetitive "Super Assault" which damaged viewers vision (eye-sore animation), intellect (asspulls after asspulls for coherent plotline/garbage designs & detestable characters) auditory (mediocre OP/ED/BGM's)......general viewers become "immunized". Hence, the ratings upsurge

Although the 2016 figure for this happening is also telling. Then again, fans of One Piece are probably still wondering why they're on episode 12,000. And why they're still watching it lol.
