Posts: 10,327 Group: Elite Member Member #10,438 Joined: November 2, 2013 Gender Male Country United States Favourite Anime Dragon ball/Z/GT/S, Fullmetal Alchemist:Brotherhood, One Punch Man Favourite Manga DB/Z/S	I don't have the screenshot right now but when goku and vegeta arrive to fight Frieza there's a scene where gohan or krillin says that goku is way stronger than before and goku was only in base form Most people including myself take this to mean RF base goku>ssj goku post absorption But wouldn't they also have an idea of how strong base goku was after he absorbed ssjg too? Why does this have to be a comparison between RF base goku and ssj goku post absorption? Couldn't they just be saying he's stronger in general? Edited by Ssj3vegito96, Jul 13 2017, 11:37 PM.

I know what you're talking about, Krillin says this is way different (or extreme, difficult) than the fight against Beerus or something like that.

I mean obviously goku has gotten stronger in general but would this lead you to believe goku is as strong as ever even in base form? Stronger than ssj goku post absorption? Well, I believe in two-base theory (I hate calling it that), so Goku imo was using Saiyan Beyond god against Frieza. Which is the equivalent to SSG, so if this is SSG basically but trained up then obviously he's more powerful. In the anime Beerus only says that Goku retained the power in his Super Saiyan form, so it should be equal to SSG. Saiyan Beyond (RF)>Super Saiyan (post-god BoG)=Super Saiyan Red (BoG)

If Gohan had felt that kind of power from Goku before, the line doesn't have as much impact IMO.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Dragon Ball	Yeah, I'm of the camp that feels Base/Saiyan Beyond Goku is stronger than Super Saiyan God Goku was when he fought Beerus. That just seems like the most reasonable interpretation of that exchange.
