Screwed up moments?

As the topic reads, what are some of the most deranged and questionable moments you can recall throughout DBZ? (anime, manga, movies)

I know a lot of people will bring up the classics (i.e. Cell absorbing a man, Super Buu blowing up a man, various torture scenes), but honestly, I think Bojack bearhugging Gohan takes the cake for me. Everything about the scene is disturbing, with Gohan's screams and crushing bones in the backdrop of various shots of the battered, unconscious Z-fighters, and Goku looking helplessly at his son screaming in agony and calling his name. Had this been part of the actual series and not an actual movie (or if they simply replaced Bojack in this scene with Super Perfect Cell), there'd be legitimate questions regarding whether or not the day would be saved. Nevertheless, for this scene alone, Bojack asserts himself as one of the more malicious DBZ movie villains, in my opinion at least.

Gohan gets bear hugged a lot lol. He also gets bear hugged by Cell, Broly, and Shisami.

For me I'd probably say when Gohan got his neck broken by Recoome. Idk if that's really a screwed up moment though.

People like to beat up Gohan a lot.

Freeza did it in his second form, almost crushed his head under his foot, and Bootenks laid quite the beatdown on him.

When I first saw the scene of Boo turning Dabura into a cookie then eating it and crushing it with his teeth, I found it very disturbing. Because in my mind, all the people Boo eats are still alive after they've been turned into other stuff. I've gotten used to him doing it though, nowadays I just see it as something that is very silly, as it was intended to be.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

This one always gets me too, especially considering how impressive 17 and Piccolo were in the fight preceding this, alongside the character development and camaraderie shown between them. To see such a strong character like 17 get brutally beaten and left moaning in pain and fear always left a mark on me when I was a kid. :(

Freeza and his crew being a group of war criminals always comes off as horridly callous. They just show up and start killing people. The fact that Freeza is far more human than Cell helps with that. Cell gives off a very alien and amoral vibe, but Freeza is far more cruel about the whole thing.

Also Gero casually wiping out half a city just to spite Goku along with impaling Yamcha and slaughtering some random civilians comes to mind. Cell does something similar, but it was more gradual and less just "blink, gone" like with Gero.

Not particularly messed up, but the thought of how much worse that would've gone definetely is.

The cyborgs in general is pretty messed up. I mean, Gero took normal humans and turned them into cyborgs. That's seriously freaking creepy and messed up, it's always disturbed me.

The fact no seems to remember how the now jubilant loving Ox King was once a rampaging murderer who threatened to kill a kid Goku is a subtly disturbing factoid for me. Say what you will about Piccolo and Vegeta not being judged for their crimes, at least the Z fighters maintained some level of weariness around them. Plus, Vegeta was outright told that he would be reincarnated and forced to relive the cycle of life again for his crimes after dying against Buu. What was Ox King's punishment? The man has to have untold amounts of blood splattered all over his body from the innumerable amount of people he killed yet no one seems to bat an eye towards him.

When Recoome breaks Gohan's neck and all the kid can do is lay there helpless. That was a pretty s***ty moment.

Gohan suffers a rare breed of Stockholm-syndrome ever since his beating at the hands of Recoome, what with his Saiyaman poses and all.

Well, this scene from the start of the Androids arc is pretty messed up. I can't exactly blame Toei for censoring it.

What he does to Spopovich is a lot worse, imo.
