How do you suppose Kame House gets its amenities?; Kind of a technical question.

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Kuroshitsuji	Irrigation, electricity, plumbing, TV signal, and ect. Do we know how any of this is supplied to Roshi? He's a geographically far-flung solitarian who hasn't taken on any students for years. So how could he be financing his facilities? The island seems way too small for any kind of sewage link under the house or electricity lines. The TV signal could be rationalised like if he had a satellite, though I don't recall him ever having one on his house. We also know that he has enough finances to purchase his own sub. Moreover, food doesn't appear to be any concern as he's not fretting over supplies too much even after having Goku and guests eat him out of fridge and home. So what? Any thoughts?

Google Chrome Favourite Manga Hokuto no Ken, Berserk, Dragon Ball, Rurouni Kenshin, Attack on Titan, Kuroshitsuji	Skimming back over the manga, I picked up on this scene back in the RRA arc where a miniature version of Roshi is accidentally flushed down the toilet and we see him opening the lid to a manhole cover adjacent to his house. Spoiler: click to toggle Somehow his house has access to a sewage system despite being an inordinate number of kilometres worth of ocean separated from the nearest civilisation. I would assume he either had it constructed by some development company or developed it himself (which would paint him as being quite the architect). His house does have a secretive training chamber situated beneath it so I suppose anything is possible.
