I wonder what the specifics of those ratings would entail because the previous arc was very much not a singular Goku centric arc. Trunks arguably had control of the reigns longer and more impactfully than Goku did, or at least Goku by himself when not pairing him with Vegeta against Zamasu. |

Yeah Goku didn't have a lot of focus in the Zamasu Arc. It was mostly Vegeta and Future Trunks. He has much more action in the manga, which I prefer. Personally I don't think there's not enough Goku action and I'm tired of him losing over and over in this series. Lost to Beerus, lost to Frieza and only killed him because time got turned back, beat Botamo actually, lost to Frost because of poison, forfeited against Hit, has some good moments against Black and Zamasu but never actually beats them, Bergamo is probably his second real win in the series not including filler like Copy-Vegeta. |

This argument is true but still missing the point. Goku lost all those times yeah but who did better? Goku got the God ritual, Goku fought full power Freeza and got to finish him, Goku went furthest in the tournament and powered up beyond everyone else, Vegeta beat Black, Goku comes along and solo kamehamehas Merged Zamasu five minutes later. In the manga, despite Vegeta's extra training Goku knows 'completed blue'. Goku is getting the most love even if the narrative dictates they all lose. It's not the point anyway, Goku ignored warnings about Zeno and then potentially fast tracked (at least) universal destruction accross the cosmos. He regrets it for two seconds and then gets excited to fight. He's still pally with Zeno despite the fact the little imp is about to kill countless trillions of people. He doesn't deserve the reward of power for being so reckless. |

No surprise here, we knew this transformation was coming since the announcement of the ToP and the new intro of the show. Moreover, even Boogie Back hinted to this every time. It's 99% sure that with this new form Goku will master the concept of "no leaking of God ki" which was introduced by Whis at the beginning of the show. The manga already told us about such a direction with the Perfected SSB transformation, which increadibly increased Goku's power as well as allowing him to start to use the Hakai move, that is proper of the Gods of Destruction. On this route, the following form will thus be the definitive God form, which will allow Goku to use to the maximum extent the Godly powers. I also bet that, with this, he will surely master Hakai (at least in the manga) and he will definitely leave Beerus (and, probably, the majority of Gods of Destruction) in the dust. This form + IT + Hakai.... poor Clark. |

It'll likely be something like that. It'll probably be all of the god power absorbed into his base form creating a new form or something like that (saiyan beyond god 2.0). It seems like it'll be interesting, this'll be more original rather than have an exact base form look or Super Saiyan look. That's something I liked about SS4. |

Just a little update on this photo from herms: https://twitter.com/Herms98/status/888045284185358337 It seems that something bad will happen that will drive Goku to this transformation. I'm wondering if someone from his Universe gets erased by Zen'Oh. I can't imagine anyone else getting erased would drive him to a point of a new transformation. Any thoughts? |

So basically a rehash of the Super Saiyan transformation for Goku and Super Saiyan 2 for Gohan? I'm a little confused but I'm 50/50 with it, I haven't seen Goku angry to point of a transformation since Frieza on Namek. |

Agreed, personally I think those are the best kind of transformations. I mean, that's when the characters have always been the coolest when they're friends are in trouble they get mad and take care of business. |

Yeah it's kinda ridiculous that it takes witnessing a universe being erased for goku to stop and realize how serious this is. To be fair vegeta acted the same way though. He seemed more excited than worried about the tournament up until that point too |
