This has always bugged me. You see the Spirit Bomb hit Buu from the front, yet he starts disintegrating from behind. This is also the case with Cell, though to a lesser extent, because you do at least see parts of the front dissolve before, or at the same time as the back. Is there any explanation for this?

As I've seen from Super material as of late, the main weak spot where ki is concentrated the least is the back or the sides. Considering the Spirit Bomb is an enveloping attack, I think it's fair to say it targeting the weakest spots. That in this instance would be the back, hence him beginning to disintegrate from behind.
