This is from any Dragon Ball series, anime and manga both included. The characters that annoy you the most. 1. Arale- Thankfully she's not around long, but for me she is definitely the most annoying character the Dragon Ball Universe has ever experienced. 2. Pan- Pan from GT is unbelievably annoying, I've never watched the Japanese version so could just be the voice actor but Idk. I'm not sure that it matters when I hate her as much as I do. Everything she does and every line she has, I can't stand her. 3. Majin Buu- Maybe could be lower on the list, but the anime versions of the Majin Buus are so annoying. The only ones that don't really annoy me are Super Buutenks and Super Buuhan. 4. Krillin- This is Kid Krillin before the 23rd Tournament, his character seems to completely change by that point and he ends up becoming a much more likable character. In most of Dragon Ball he's extremely annoying, especially in the anime. 5. Gohan- This is Kid Gohan during the Saiyan and Frieza Arcs, he seems to have an on and off switch for me. Sometimes I have a neutral opinion, sometimes I like him, and sometimes I don't. His Kai voice actor makes me hate him though, which is one reason why I don't watch Kai. 6. Goku- This is only Goku from DBS, he doesn't act like he should and he acts like a complete moron. Goku honestly is a pretty smart person, most of idiocy is form the early part of Dragon Ball. He's just been naive and too trusty throughout the rest of the series. Even the manga makes Goku out to look pretty dumb, and in the anime he is incredibly annoying sometimes. He's the most tolerable when he's fighting, that's when they break Goku into the right character. That's all I can really think of, there's some characters that only annoy me by voice and not in the manga, those would be characters like Puar and Baba in the Buu Arc. Another character I'll mention here is Gotenks, who only annoys me in the video games. In the anime and manga I thought he was fine. |

Pfft. The guys in your list dont hold a candle to mine: 1. Doltacki : Fu*king perverted hentai a***** with Donkey face & garbage voice. Plus his worthless role 2. Omega/Yi Xing Long : Dude sounds like 70 year + weed smoker (JPN version with due respect to Shibata) & utterly useless villain. Garbage design, eats DB like muffins, powerups, gets crushed by SSJ4 Gogeta, again eats muffin....dafuq??? 3. Para-para Bros : Oscar nominees for gay dancers of the century. Watchin their dance segments would result any DB/DBZ fan to suffer frm retinal detatchment, retinitis, glaucoma and oh yeah! Brain tumor 4. Every goddamn Shenrons : Be it Pink Duck Shenron, Toad Shenron, Lady Shenron grrrrrhhhhh!!!! 5. Beerus : Holy f*** People hate Broly for being overrated, but did I say the Egyptian Cat in Super is easily most overrated character in DB history. Strip his Goddo/Goat title, dude would look like Puar's daddy. Hated his antics, voice, fighting style, arrogance. To be frank, I once hated Pan. But I switched to JPN version & after some time even thought her to be "kawaii" |

Super Beerus, Super Goku, and Super Vegeta. These 3 are perhaps the most irritating on a moment to moment basis. They're still likable, but I find these 3 annoy me the most out of anyone in the franchise. I would also say Mr. Boo, but he stopped being insufferably obnoxious after the Beerus arc.

Yajirobe. His attitude and lack of respect for his fellow warriors is very obnoxious. Freeza in the anime can be summed up with this: Blah blah blah. That's all he does; blabber on and on about his status in the universe. At first it makes him very intimidating, until he gets knocked around in battle and continues to do so. |

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Broly yet, but I guess most of what makes him an annoying characters are his fans who have hyped him up so much ever since DBZ discussions are a thing. Still, his constant laughing in Movie 10 annoyed me a lot, particularly when I watched it with the english dub. I don't recall that idiot ever doing anything besides grunt and cackle in M10. |

This is definitely an unpopular opinion. but Kid Goku's what I'd consider to be the most annoying of all characters. He can never support a scene by his lonesome, and he's an absolute bore on his own. This is partly because he just doesn't have enough personality to stand on his own leg, and his naivety gag only really works in a group. |

What about Red Ribbon Army Arc, where it focuses 99% on Goku showcasin his adventurous, naivety (trainin with Karin Sama for Holy Water) & overall personality (doing whats right even if its for benefit of others: going after RRA's Base to retrive the DB's to revive Upa's father) Maybe you watched Eng Dub, cuz I always get turned-off by his raspy voice Nozawa however magnifies his manga character manyfold with soul & enthusiasm injected in every line |

His relationship with Goku has regressed, and his reflects poorly on his character. He's still entertaining, and arguably still the most entertaining character in the show aside from Blooma and Whis, but there are times when he does or says something that genuinely irritates me. Constantly talking about surpassing Goku and preferring to die than see a copy of himself be beaten by Goku is annoying and totally betrays the character development he went through in the Majin Boo saga. |

Super Vegeta during the first half of Super, basically anything Pre-Zamasu Arc (maybe Pre- U6 Tournament) was just an obnoxious take on a character that, as noted already, should have long since gotten over this whole grudge with Goku. I think one of the most glaring points is when Vegeta literally attacks Goku during the battle with Freeza and then goes on about how Goku stole his kill. Vegeta, you didn't do jack s*** during this fight and you didn't even dare to fight Freeza when he was at his full power. You don't get to talk about kill steals when you were more of hindrance during this fight than an asset. But beyond this, shocking as it may be, Vegeta got better. He started far less egotistical, we get to see more of his family side. His interactions with Bra is kind of adorable. I remember the specific scene where Goku, being the dickwad he is, tries to get Vegeta to leave and train and Vegeta tells Goku to shut it. Paraphrasing there. He says he's got to be there for Bulma and the child. It easily paints him as a figure 1,000x more likable and interesting than Goku ever was in Super and arguably ever was in the series. |

Since this is a DB/Z Discussions board... ChiChi: I know that by the ending of DBZ she's pretty much irrelevant and don't care about her anymore, still... Damn, was she super annoying till Cell saga or what? Overbearing, rude and lacks common sense. I know all that's there to know about a mother's instincts, but if she were a real life person, she'd be what shrinks would call 'a controlling parent'. She forced Gohan to take on the career she wanted and always thought Gohan's homework was far more important than Earth kicking the bucket. I agree she didn't want Gohan to be a fighter, but I'll stop explaining common sense. Sad, considering how she was the strongest woman by the end of DB, probably a great martial fighter, turned into a dumb housewife. Bulma: same as above, with the only difference being that she also has sweet moments. And she's not useless. But I hated her on Namek. Gohan and Krillin were busting their asses, being tortured and stuff and all she thought about was nagging them and cursing them. And I'd say that even as an adult she kept her overbearing behaviour. Satan: funny how in Buu saga they tried to deflect all the hate this character has received by turning him into a nice guy, only to make him return to his obnoxiusness. Vegeta: I wouldn't say that I find him annoying as I find him rather funny. In a facepalm kind of way. I just couldn't take him seriously. I always depicted him like a kid that rages if he doesn't get all the attention from his parents like he wants to. What's sad is that he had key-points where he could and was supposed to develop his character, but he stagnated for a while like a broken track. Oh, I forgot the unpopular opinion tags... Goku: I loved him in DB, he was really tough and strong but gold-hearted and adorably naive. Now he is just immature and lacks any empathy/sympathy whatsoever. Can't forget how his wife and children were killed by Buu but he felt excited that he's gonna have a fair match with him. I don't know if that's an emotionally appropiate response in any universe out there. Plus the thing with Gohan in Cell saga. Plus, how could he spend 7 earthly years away from his family and not even have the slightest longing for them or curiosity to check on them, you know, in the meantime... Are they ok? How is Chichi doing? Is Gohan feeling ok after the Cell-thing? Did he get into the school he wanted? Whatevs. Gotenks (Gohan and Trunks): bratty attitude. A great threat was knocking at the door but it's more important to have a feast and nap-time (their moms had a major fault in spoiling them). Lost precious time in the Time Chamber while Piccolo shat himself trying all the possible ways to buy time for them. Lost precious time fighting Buu (and having the chance to defeat him) with bombastic attacks and goofing before he unfused. Earth is now a living hell but also their playground. What I hated the most is that Piccolo tried his best to prepare them for what was coming and actually had to knock some sense into him at times, but it's more important to talk back and don't consider what someone older and more experienced has to say (Gohan was never rude to his mentor for this matter). |
