I guess it's Man-Ape's turn now. I believe that is him, as the big dude with the furred armor.

Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?!

Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

I'm definitely looking forward to it. I don't know anything about the Black Panther story so I'll go into it with little bias.

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

Honestly wasn't fussed for this trailer.

I'm excited to see what Black Panther is all about but...I dunno, I feel like he's being presented as a side character if that makes sense.
Like he's here to have one movie and then be barely relevant from then on.
Suppose that's the problem with a big universe, some characters grab all the cool and it's hard for any others to make a stand.

Hopefully the villain is good, God knows the MCU needs some good villains.

Also why do movie companies still feel the need to release trailers so damn early, kind of hard to get hyped for this movie when it's over 6 months away.

The MCU is hardly big to begin with, they're just not making a good job with their characters and have half-assed almost all of them, especially with the way they have their movies ordered (the upcoming ones should've happened way before Civil War).

And don't expect anything from the villain. Assuming it's Man-Ape, I predict he'll be no better than Abomination, aside from being more personal. Maybe, but probably not since Man-Ape's only noteworthy achievement (aside from kicking Panther around a few times, of course) was killing Panther's father in EMH, but he's already dead here, so yeah, not much to work with as far as Man-Ape ploys go.

Whatever hope of Black Panther film having complex/suspenseful plot is busted with such give-away trailer. Dafuq these guys were thinking?

Not tryin to be racist but when was da last time a black protagonist acted in full-fledged superhero film. Solo, or Hancock maybe?

I think this film has the potential of being darkest (no pun intended) MCU film. Visuals are great, but part of me is terrified if its gonna be the sole plus point of the film.

Not sure I buy Wakanda being that advanced looking unless this is some years after Civil War. Looked like some kind of Star Wars city.

Just seems a bit weird to have that on Earth.

With Guardians of the Galaxy it made sense to have a drastically different setting and tone and that actually enhanced the movie but here it seems odd, like Wakanda is a different world entirely. Not sure it makes sense to the verse.

It's a remote place in Africa, very few know how to get there, as the trailer says. In the comics it has advanced and improved way beyond any other country on Earth. Wakanda looking all futuristic-y fits. Surprised this weirds you out, all things considered. The patriotic red, white and blue weirdo with an impenetrable shield didn't bother you? Or the little kid on red and blue spandex with spider powers? Or what about that technologically and magically bound race of aliens from that one place called Asgard?

Asgard is fine, it's not on Earth and superpowers are something that have slowly evolved in the world as the MCU progresses.

Now it's just like yeah, Star Wars city is there.

Surely these people would have been important to Iron Man showing up and all the business with Stark? Should have been introduced then so it was a bit less boom.
In this age of technology, especially in their world, somewhere on Earth being hard to get to sounds ridiculous unless it's hidden by some magic s***, which is no longer out there now we have magic I suppose.

Wakanda likes its privacy, and Panther isn't fond of Stark, as to be expected. They've shielded themselves from the rest of the world, or did you forget the "most advanced country in the world by far" part?

But unless they have an invisibility cloak around their whole country how does that even work?

With tech like that where were they when the stuff in New York was happening(though to be fair maybe it would take too long to get there)

It's just a bit dumb how it's suddenly there without good reason to being hidden, in the comics it might make sense since it probably is shrouded somehow but I doubt they're about to say "Magic did it" when they've only just introduced it.

It's like when a new character suddenly appears in something when they should have been at least mentioned before suddenly existing despite being so important.
Like Nathan Drake suddenly having an older brother in Uncharted, wut.

Bro, we've yet to learn the answers to all these questions.

Again, VERY remote part of Africa. It gets found eventually, obviously, but similarly to Atlantis, in a way.

In the Captain America: Civil War movie, Wakanda was shown on a map at the northern end of Lake Turkhana, at a fictional point bordering Ethiopia, Sudan, Uganda, and Kenya.

Wait, I thought the villain was Killmonger, not Man-Ape.

And Wakanda in the comics Wakanda has been for a long time a country that did not share much with the rest of the world

Killmonger? Well I guess that would explain the lack of gorilla armor. Wouldn't be the first time they completely altered a character's appearance though.

Doesn't really make sense considering Man-Ape is more of an archnemesis and has more appearances and stories with Panther, but eh.
