Where do you draw a line in social acceptance?

Greetings. I will be your waifu this season.

As in, when do you think something/someone has gone too far and shouldn't be widely considered okay/normal.

For instance nudists and furries, do you accept them and how far can they go?
Do you think it would be ever okay for someone to legitimately apply for a standard job while naked/in a fursuit when not currently appropriate and have an equal opportunity?

And "transabled" people or those with Body Integrity Identity Disorder.

What are your limits for acceptance, barring obvious illegal things.

It truly was a Shawshank redemption

I think people should be able to do what they want, with my limit being when it's at the detriment of others. Nudists, for example, are fine by me, but they shouldn't presume that everyone else is OK with seeing them nude (so, to your example, no, that wouldn't be OK).

I also think that there's a fine line between acceptance and approval. For me, acceptance is more of a right i.e. nobody should be discriminated against because of who they are, and is more of a professional or societal thing, whereas approval is a personal thing. You can't expect someone to approve of your lifestyle, and that goes for any and everything. As long as it doesn't delve into a form of abuse, if somebody chooses to sever a relationship because of the way another person identifies themselves, that's their prerogative.

"Next time?"
"Course. Doing better next time. That's what life is."
